The staff is great and I cant say thank you enough for how kind they were and how extremely helpful they were in calming me down. But the male doctor needs to work on his attitude with patients and learn a little bit about professional courtesy especially with patients who are extremely fearful of medical offices. Ive never had a doctor nor heard of a story of a doctor for getting to call in a much-needed prescription that he assured me was going to be there but when I arrived at the pharmacy to pick it up there was nothing there so instead I had to suffer throughout the whole night once again, and the next morning he called me asking me how I was doing, which I do appreciate butt it seemed more as a courtesy call of "oh hey I completely forgot about you and which he did admit to forget to call it in". And as we spoke on the phone I felt the entire time like you was just telling me to shut up because I was asking too many questions about the health of my eyes. The manager did a follow up call and he was extremely nice and helpful and I truly do appreciate his courteous attitude. As to the question if I would recommend this place, yes I would but only just see the female doctor who I hear is super awesome I have nothing bad to say about the business just didnt agree with how the male doctor treated me. The only reason I gave this place five stars was because of everyone else!

I went to this location for my exam last year, loved the experience with Dr. Nielsen. Decided to take my son for contact lenses this year... Fee for fitting not explained to me - its been a week and now that we are due to report back, they want to now spring the fee on us. During the fitting, staff really did not take the proper time to show my son how to put in or take out the lenses.... after expressing my concern, the doctor did take a little more time with him, but I could tell that my asking questions about the process, procedures, etc was annoying staff. I do not wear glasses or contacts so this is a new process for my son and I -- we did not feel satisfied upon leaving the office that day. I would recommend if you do visit this place that you ask for all information and charges upfront so you do not get any surprises. Also, go with your first gut feeling. If they are not providing the customer service that you expect, then run for the door. By the way, Dr. Nielsen was not there during any of my visits this year. Dr. Williams handled our services..... First mistake! I will definitely follow my gut from now on.

I went to get a copy of my sons prescription (TSO is not the doctor that I personally, regularly use) and was told they would call me when it was ready. (10:30) I went and ran errands for two hours. (12:30) I stopped back by before I needed to go home. It still wasnt ready. I had to go through the request process all over again with a different worker in the front. I said I had already been waiting for two hours. She went to the back to have the doctor sign it and on the way to the back she said, you are lucky you did not have to wait the usual 24 hours. When she came back, I told her that the eye care professionals across 35 (Vision Eye Source), that I normally do business with, handles these requests in minutes. (and with the utmost professional courtesy) I will not be going back to this TSO.

B. Punch

This is the best Optometrist office visit that I have ever had. Dr. Williamson is incredibly knowledgeable and her explanation regarding my exam results were clearly explained. The staff was very welcoming from the time I approached the front door through the entire end of the visit. Greeted by the fantastic smile and quick check-in from Andrea, followed by Monicas screening, whos cheerfully-bright personality is the perfect fit, and finished by Andrea generating and Shandi delivering my doctor’s note for work. I look forward to my next visit and will definitely refer friends and family to this practice.

Expect to be here at LEAST 2 hours! For my appointment it was 3 hours long between wait and everything. I had glasses picked out and everything. they arent in a rush to do anything. There always is at least 4-6 people up front doing nothing and 1 helping people on the floor ing an they dont take good discount programs and insurance combined. Even if Insurance says they do. The staff is nice drs are good. Just take forever!

Their is no doubt that Dr Nielsen and her staff have set the bar in terms of quality of care for the patient. Dr. Nielsens TSO is the very accommodating and wonderful. Best optometry place I have been to so far: very personable and competent, with large eye ware selection. Amanda has an eye for finding the perfect glasses. She helped my wife and I pick glasses, we really liked and that were affordable with our insurance. Wont go anywhere else from now on!!

TOO MANY ERRORS (BOTH DOCTORS AND STAFF)!!!! UNNECESSARY TESTS BEING ORDERED TO COLLECT FROM INSURANCE. DIFFERENT DOCTORS EVERY VISIT. THE INITIAL DOCTOR MADE A RECOMMENDATION AND ORDERED TESTS, HOWEVER THE SECOND DOCTOR NOT BEING ABLE TO INTERPRET FIRST DOCTORS NOTES, PERFORMED UNNECESSARY TESTING CAUSING ERRORS.

Dr. Was very nice and explained things well. Had some trouble getting in the right contacts but staff and Dr.s were very patient and really made me feel comfortable. Everyone there was very nice there are a few that stood out with customer service but no one was lacking. Very present experience.

Staff are extremely nice and friendly. Fast service. I was in and out in half an hour. Fascility is clean and easy to find. Andrea and Monica are the friendliest people Ive dealt with at any doctors office Ive ever been to. If you need glasses or just an exam, I recommend TSO Schertz.
