I have been bringing my dog to this clinic since 2010 after I adopted him from the humane society. I have always had a good experience until today, after I left work early to bring my dog in to their walk-in clinic for severe allergies he was having. Their website states they see walk-ins from 2pm - 5:15pm and although I arrived within this time window, they refused to see my dog as they were "too busy." I completely understand the need to cut off patients at a certain point in order for the staff to leave work at a decent hour. However, it would be polite and respectful to post such a policy on the website, that way I (and other customers) could have cal to see if they were still seeing patients before taking off work and making the trip up to the clinic, only to be denied to be seen despite arriving in the time window specified on the website. Again, I have used this vet for years now and have never had this issue. However, as someone who has very limited ability to step away from work during business hours (as Im sure many others do as well), I find this be extremely disrespectful and a gross disregard for other peoples time. It is not practical for me (or others) to have to leave work early every day just to hope my dog will be seen that day. For all the other hardworking individuals out there - it would be nice if yall would please specify your policies/procedures regarding your walk-in clinic on the website out of respect for your customers. Unfortunately, I will likely not be returning

This is where you should bring your pets! My cat was misdiagnosed for two years at another vets office which cost me around $1500 in tests and taking her to the emergency clinic and more than that my cat suffered for two years. After one visit to the Animal Hospital of Waco they diagnosed my cat with two different diseases and started her on a treatment plan. He is happier and healthier. They are super reasonably priced and above all very caring to my pets. The staff is great and I do not know what I would do without them. I am so grateful to them for all that they do.

Dont go to this place... go to the ABC CLINIC.... they like to rip you off... they quoted me a price for a surgery... but I didnt have the money at the time... called when I had the money to schedule.. and since they got a new doctor they wanted to charge me again another $45 office visit to have an evaluation even though I had one and a diagnosis already done! The people at ABC are not about ripping you off!!!! This lil place is cheap for a reason .... because they like to screw you over!! ABC clinic all the way!!!!!!! One star was too high

Prices are about the same in comparison with most local vets. They are very hands on and personal with your animal. They have always treated my 2 American Bullys great. Lester has assisted me with issues with my dogs skin & protien uptake. All they are the best in the area for vet needs, pet meds, flea/tick control & boarding. I take 2 vacations yearly & have no concerns when leaving Tara & Apollo with Animal Hospitals boarding staff.

Every time I go to get my ferret a check up the girl in front always have an attitude with me for no reason and there are a couple of guys that work there and they are always flirting with the girls in front. Not very professional and As for the Vet I always have to catch him around due him being the only one that knows about ferrets and If hes not there they turn me away. Never go to this disgusting place!

Take my dog here all the time. They have been SUPER helpful over the phone when my dog ate a whole pack of gum. My dog also needed surgery to remove a bladder stone. Dr. Fromm was awesome and took great care of my pup. The no appointment schedule is not always ideal, and a few staff members do flirt with clients, but the vets are really good at what they do for a really affordable rate. Highly recommend!

I have been using Animal Hospital of Waco since 1989. From the Excitement of a new friend, the Birth of a new litter, Emergency from a scary event, to the Grief at the end. These Doctors, and their staff have gone through it all with me and my babies. They are genuine, friendly, informative and caring. They always give you 100% The resent, remodel looks great too!

Dr. Rafferty loves his patients! I know this because he saved my babys (Gypsie, Boston terrier) life from the clutches of parvo. I have been a client of this pet vets hospital since the 70s. Always compassionate, as I know because Ive had many babies, for various reasons, that had to be euthanized. AND I dont have to tell you how Ive grieved for them!

We recently adopted a dog who had the distemper virus. The entire staff was great with our dog and truly cared about the heath of the pet and about us. Dr. Fromm really went the extra mile in his care for our dog making calls for us and talking to us on the phone several times. We cannot say enough good things about this place. Take your pets here!

I love all of the vets at the animal hospital. They dont take appointments but I have never waited long. On my first visit they even gave me some free hartgaurd for my dog. The receptionist and nurses have even helped me over the phone when my dog ate something he should not have. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic.

I THANK ALL THE STAFF AND ESPECIALLY the ones that worked super hard to help my dog (Paris) and her pups. Thank u all and the VET !! This was the best early Christmas anyone could ever give us and thats by helping our precious PARIS glad to say they are all doing great. And again THANK YOU SO MUCH !!

Staff really care about your pet. Ive taken my dog here 3 times and the vets are always attentive and thorough. Theyre willing to prescribe whatever is necessary, which I appreciate because I like to avoid having to make frequent trips to the vet. I plan to keep bringing Willow here in the future!

Dals Rule

As someone in rescue, I highly recommend this clinic. We use them for all of our rescues and the Drs are informative, up front with our options and always good to our dogs. We bring in some very complicated cases sometimes and weve always been pleased with the treatment and customer service.

I just really love this office. Been using for years and am never disappointed with who I see. The love they have for the animals is evident! As an owner of 4 cats and 1 dog I never feel like they push services that arent needed---unlike many other offices in town.

Dr. Akers is so good. They have always done a great job of taking care of our dog. When it came time to put her down she and her staff were very sympathetic and caring. We even received a sympathy card from Dr. Akers. I would highly recommend them.

My husbands family uses them and have for many many years. They only take appointments in the morning And walk ins on the afternoon. Been seen by all the vets at one time or another and never had any complaints they all are super great.
