They LOST our dog!!!!! We had to have friends search and find him. He was ruin and died shortly after them losing him. I told them to use our collar and not their CHOKE LEASH to walk him. Dr. Lyle said that they never lost one yet. I told him how fast our dog was, and that he would escape their type of leash. He believed me after they lost our dog and chased after him. He cant honestly say these things now. Poor judgement at best on his part. His wife worked there at the time as well. We had been going to Crest prior to them taking it over. The in laws had gone there for years prior. Wish that I had NOT trusted his professional judgement. Thankful for a number of great friends who loved this dog. They took time off from work to look for him. One of them found and helped rescue him. So many places that he could have been killed by a car too! I was looking for a place to board our current family pet and accidentally came across their site. I read the reviews. Wish that I could agree with them. We left them for a simple country type vet, after that incident. He did apologize. He gave our dog extra meds to calm him down. We dont like to dope pets more than needed for procedures. In fairness; this was a while back. He didnt charge us for the extra meds, that were given because of their mistakes. I felt like he wanted me to pay for these extra items, at first. Actually there was nothing that he could have done to make up for losing our dog. Our dog was lost for hours. He had been a real happy dog. He immediately turned mean after this, and DIED shortly afterwards. He had been determined to be a very healthy dog prior to this, by Dr. Lyle. Thanks to Google for helping us get this info out there. I do hope that all your pets have a great deal better experience, than ours did. Just a simple teeth cleaning.

My animals have been patients of Dr. Lyle and his associates for many years and have enjoyed their gentle, caring methods of ensuring their health and well-being. Last year my golden retriever became ill and we though we might have to euthanize her. I brought her to the clinic, unsure of whether or not I was doing the right thing. She had a pretty serious condition and it could have gone either way. The doctors let me know that the decision was mine and that there was no wrong move. They told me my options and made me feel confident in my decision to try medications to relieve her symptoms. It worked and she did quite well for the most part until about two weeks ago. I went back and got more medication but unfortunately this time it didnt work and she continued to go downhill. Today I took her to Dr. Lyle for the last time. It was an incredibly comfortable experience, albeit very sad, he and his staff were very supportive, caring and compassionate not only towards me, but more importantly towards my dog Rylee. I was able to be right there with her as she quietly and calmly went to sleep and out of pain and discomfort. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pet. I live nearly 30 minutes away and in an area with many veterinarians but choose to travel the extra distance because of the outstanding care we receive here. Not only is the care above reproach, the costs for their services is far less than most others in the Kansas City area as well. Crest Animal Hospital is one of KCs best kept secrets.

I have had animals all of my life and Ill admit Im very picky about the care they receive. I feel strongly that Im my pets advocate -- their voice when they are feeling ill. I also have made a point of being as knowledgeable about my pets care as possible. As you might imagine, Ive gone through many, many vets from those who try to buffalo me into having unneeded tests done to those who are so arrogant you arent allowed to ask any questions to those who plain arent that good. Im pleased that my search for a good vet clinic lead me to Crest Animal Hospital. Its clear that their first concern is for the wellbeing and comfort of the animals they treat, and its also clear that they are very knowledgeable and keep up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine. Those things would be enough for me to give them five stars, but they go even further and treat me with respect and professionalism. Not long ago, I had to board my dogs there for an extended period of time while I was in the hospital. Theyre little dogs and typically get upset when boarded for even one night. My dogs were boarded there for a little more than two weeks and when I picked them up, they actually were even more spoiled than when I left them there! Two of them went off their food, which I had anticipated, and I couldnt believe it that Dr. Lyle actually cooked chicken, mixed it with rice, and those two were handfed! You dont find vets like this very often. Theyre the best!

Ive been taking my pets, specifically my dog, John, to Dr. Lyle at Crest Animal Clinic since we moved into the neighborhood a few years ago. John has had a lot of strange health problems, from a big bloated ear (aural hematoma) to the most recent issue, a honking heart (early mild chronic valve disease). Dr Lyle knew how beside ourselves with worry we were and had come in very early to the clinic on a Saturday morning to arrange an appointment with a heart specialist and prepare all of Johns xrays and files for the cardiologist. Dr Lyle always shows genuine compassion when dealing with our animals and with us. Hes extremely knowledgeable and always goes out of his way to share his knowledge about everything thats going on with our animals and to educate us about the various ailments and conditions our dog or cats are experiencing. He never rushes us, and is never dismissive. I wish I could find a doctor for myself like Dr. Lyle.

Absolutely love Crest Animal Hospital. Dr. Lyle is amazing as well as all of the other Dr.s that are there. My family has been going to Crest Animal Hospital for the past 13 years and counting. My husband and I have been taking our dogs there for the past 8 years. I recommend Dr. Lyle to everyone I know who has a dog. My husbands family has now in the past couple of years started to take their dogs there. They were able to figure out what was going on with my sister in laws dog that multiple other vets were not able to do figure out. I have NEVER had a bad experience. Dr. Lyle has even met us at the offices when we called his emergency line. He left right away and met us when our Boston Terrier had some sort of reaction to something. There is no where else I would take my dogs to. Hands down best place to go to for your animal. With out a doubt!

Very proud to bring Luna (our Chihuahua canine ) at this great hospital! My daughters and I always had the greatest experience at Crest Animal Hospital! Was our first time and we meet Dr. Lyle he is amazing, and s great human being and through what he has done for us that he has a real compassion for animals and he often puts their well being overcharges . We bring our dog "Luna" to Crest for Our first time and was amazing sworn by Dr. Lyle. Since taking all of our animals to Crest, I can truly say that I am a believer and would highly recommend Crest to anyone based on quality of care and pricing.
