I boarded my dog here for 11 days and picked her up yesterday. I brought her home and not even 20 minutes later noticed ticks crawling on her. So I called SUVH to see what they can do because she had gotten them while boarded. They said theyll give her a bath, which was nice. So I brought her back up there for the bath and picked her up a couple hours later. On the way home I was petting her and noticed bumps. Once I got home I got her out of the truck and started looking at her and noticed several engorged ticks plus some just roaming around on her. So I immediately called them back and they suggested that I bring her back up there so they can keep her over night to make sure they get the rest of them off her. My husband decided to bring her instead so he could ask why this is happening. He got there and they took her back and not to long after they come back out saying they got them all off. So he sat down with her while talking to the Vet and could feel ticks still on her. He even noticed them moving around, so he told them to look and said yall need to keep her over night like yall said yall would do and make sure to get them off her. He left her there over night and I picked her up earlier today to bring her home to find more engorged ticks plus some just moving all around on her. They arent willing to take care of the problem or refund us any money, which would be used to take her to another animal hospital to get the treatment she needs.

Dr. Crouch and the staff at the South University Veterinary Hospital cared for my baby girl Sara (black lab mix) for many years. I boarded Sara there several times and took her there for her yearly check-ups and vaccinations. Dr. Crouch and her staff were always kind, careful and compassionate when dealing with‌ Sara, and they were always very respectful and understanding of the bond that I shared with my dog. Unfortunately, I lost Sara to cancer recently...Dr. Crouch and her staff did everything possible to help Sara until the cancer began to overwhelm her; when it came time to end Saras suffering, Dr. Crouch and her staff provided a calm, peaceful environment for us to spend our last moments together. I will always be grateful to Dr. Crouch and her staff for the love, care and concern that they showed to both Sara and myself over the years. Should I ever decide to take in another four-legged friend, I already know who his/her doctor will be.

Very POOR! The vet has a rule that the owner can NOT be with the pet during ANY visit. They take the animal to the back while making you stay in the front. They then return with the animal and a brief report. There is little to no opportunity to develop a level of trust in the care taker tech / vet. This vet office ostracizes there customers with there self imposed separation policy which is not always in the best interest of the pet. BY FAR the best vet in town is with out a doubt Live oak Animal Hospital on 98th and Slide in Lubbock, TX. (I wish i know this before my visit to the other facility) They did refund my money for treatment not provided.

Truly the best animal clinic Ive ever been to. Dr Crouch and her staff wholeheartedly and sincerely care about the animals in their care. Everyone is very helpful, always kind and extremely knowledgeable. The doctor and vet techs take time to listen, discuss and help however they can. They make you feel like a part of their family. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable. Ill never take my dogs anywhere else.

I take my border collie Jax to Dr. Crouch and absolutely love her! She is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. She is quick to answer any concerns I might have and offers great advice. She and her staff are always smiling and welcoming and it is very easy to make an appointment. She has taken such good care of Jax and I cannot be happier.

The BEST vets I have found in Lubbock. I have brought 4 cats here and they have shown nothing but love and compassion each time and they treat your pets as family. 3 of my cats had several serious surgeries and they worked wonders. My sister brought all her cats here and has a new dog that will be making her first visit soon!

I have taken both my cat and dog here multiple times. They are always so friendly and go out of their way to do whatever they can for my pets. After they treat my pets they call and check on them a few days later. They genuinely care about all the animals that they help, and I love taking my pets here!

Been going here for a couple of years now, theyre great. They know you and your dog and are very reasonably priced. I had to put down a dog Id had since I was a kid, and the whole office sent me a signed card saying how sorry they were, etc. Great people, great vet.

We take all three of our fur babies to see Dr. Crouch. They have been here with Dr. Crouch since they were puppies. The staff is amazing! They are always there to help us and get us in to be seen as soon as possible. We love it here.
