I came into this office under emergency circumstances. I had a cap come off a tooth, and take most of the tooth with it. Originally, after looking at x rays and examining the tooth, we were going to do another crown. After starting the procedure, he determined that there was not enough tooth left to do a crown, and so my tooth needed to be pulled. Under the circumstances, already having started, mouth numb etc. there was not much I could do. I was nervous but went ahead and gave consent to the tooth being pulled. Wish that didnt have to happen, and am a little curious as to why everything looked good on X-rays and exams to move forward with the crown, only to have it end in my tooth getting pulled. Obviously under the circumstances, I couldnt just leave to get a second opinion. I felt that from the beginning, Dr. Muir and the staff were very cold and not friendly. I did not get a good vibe from them, but with a mostly missing tooth I needed to be seen right away, or I would have gone somewhere else. I felt like things were not explained as well as they could have been, and was not given a ton of instructions upon leaving. I asked about how the pain would be after, and he assured me that Ibprofen would be enough. I got home took the Ibprofen, and it did nothing. I was in tears the pain was so bad. So, I called the office to see if I could get some stronger pain meds, and he did give it to me, but was very bugged that I called to get it. I just feel that is very unprofessional. You tell me one thing, end up having to do something completely different, dont send me home with adequate medicine or information, then give me attitude when I call. My husband went to pick up my prescription and agreed that the staff was very cold and unfriendly. I would not recommend this dentist, and will definitely not be going back. I just hope my extraction heals well, and that there are no more problems, so I dont have to worry about dealing with them again.

Had been going here for two years, and have had a fair amount of dental work at his office. After hearing a horror story from my Husbands coworker about a routine procedure leaving her blind we decided to check out another dental office. Our first visit to another dental office revealed that I need a root canal and it had been festering for years. How this office did not detect this with the many xrays they have taken over the last few years is beyond me. They also over billed us and our insurance many times. If you care about your dental health dont go to this practice!

My family and I have been a patient of Dr Muir for over a decade... He and his staff have great Bedside manner and care a great deal about there patients.. He watches for any changes in your mouth very carefully but will not go and have you get all this dental work if its not needed at that time... Has referred me to specialists when needed.. Emily is great and will work with you and your insurance concerns if any... Highly recommend gong if you are nervous about getting work done. Dr Muir has a gentle hand and his assistants and hygienist are very thorough and fun..

My family has been going to Dr. Muir for many years and have always been pleased with the service we receive. Dr. Muir is friendly and kind. He is also very gentle--sometimes you dont even feel his shots. He has done excellent work on everything from routine fillings to root canals and crowns to a very rare problem that I had with my gums during pregnancy. His staff is always friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Quality Caring Dentistry for all you dental needs.

I Love Dr. Muir and his amazing staff! they have always been so good to us. One time a few yrs ago, my husband fell and broke his tooth and loosened his permanent retainer in the middle of the night on a Friday. we were able to get a hold of someone and Dr Muir took time out of his crazy schedule to take care of us on a sat, a day they are typically not open. this office is amazing!!
