I have been telling myself not to write this review for over a year now, saying "Its not a big deal, dont be THAT guy" but after spending yet another $600 today at my kids new dentist to fix the low quality work Dr. Jensen did previously, Im a bit peeved. First off, let me say that Dr. Jensen, from our experience, couldnt be nicer! Hes really super nice to the kids and us parents. His staff has always been nice, the office is really nice. So 5 stars for Dr. Jensen as a likeable person. But for the dentistry, and Im totally open to thinking we might be just outliers here, almost EVERY single thing hes done has failed. My kids have had quite a bit of work done. Combined 7 silver crowns, 2 spacers, multiple cavities, etc., and I kid you not here I am a few years later and ALL of them have failed. My oldests last of 4 silver crowns just fell off. Just spent $600 putting new caps on my 7yr-olds molars that Dr. Jensen did fillings on 1.5 years ago. Maybe its just poor materials? When we went to our new kids dentist (who was highly recommended and we love), he saw the spacer Dr. Jensen put in her mouth and said "What is this? Its not even touching the teeth." Theres another wasted $250. When my oldests first cap failed, the tooth fell out, there was still half of the root in the gums which Dr. Jensen said "oh just leave it in, itll fall out eventually." Our new dentist said "I cant believe he told you that, this could get infected and literally ruin the adult tooth trying to grow in." I honestly think Dr. Jensens work is bad because he just works too dang fast. Ive never seen someone drill, fill or cap a tooth as fast as him. Hes kind of running around the op chairs like a chicken with his head cut off. I get theyre kids and they wiggle so you want to be quick. I get its stressful, its competitive, and Utah dentists need to schedule to be profitable, but do GOOD work! That could explain why every single filling hes done on my kids, I have to end up spending $100s later on a pulpectomy and cap because he didnt do it right the first time. Our new dentist is getting used to saying "They didnt get all the decay out the first time." The 2nd spacer he put in my 7yr-old just broke, had to pay the new dentist to put in a new one. My 4yr-old hit her front tooth falling off her scooter, it turned gray, gums were turning gray above the tooth, Dr. Jensen said "just leave it, itll fall out in a couple years." We go to our new dentists and once again, he has to do a pulpectomy, shows me how infected the gums were, and says, "If we didnt help this tooth, the infection wouldve ruined her adult front tooth growing in above it." Ugh. Again, hes a really nice dentist! But as for the work hes done on my kids, its been absolutely sub-par. I feel bad writing this, but with so many dentists to choose from in Utah County, its important parents know.

Our kids loved going for cleanings, which were extremely fast and friendly, and the office staff was great. However, the dentist only looked at the X-rays and did not appear to check every tooth, so cavities were missed for a while when our insurance only covered one X-ray a year. The biggest problem was his technique with injecting the numbing agent. Even with nitrous oxide, or with nitrous oxide plus a sedative, my daughter cried and screamed in pain when he injected her, and begged him to stop, and he just kept going. He didnt leave numbing gel on (swiped it on and immediately began sticking the neddle in all over her mouth) and wouldnt stop or give her a break at all. After two of these sessions we switched to a different dentist, whose technique is so much better that she didnt even know she was given any injections (and who said he would stop immediately if she did have any pain), despite expecting it and being traumatized by her dental work here. Not going back to this office.

Dr.Jensen is the best! Truly 2nd to none! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants the best all-around dental care for their children. My 4 kids have been going to him for about 3 years and he is always fast, efficient, and has a very friendly staff. He has done extensive care on my kids including root canals, caps, and extractions, and he is always extremely gentle and reassuring. He met us at the office at 11pm with no complaints when my 2 year old knocked out a tooth, he just honestly cares about his patients. We live 40 minutes away, but it is worth the drive to have the best care!

Dr. Jensen saw my 2 year old because he had a spot on his front teeth. It turned out to be a cavity, and we scheduled a filling. He suggested that my son be put to sleep for the procedure, and I was strongly opposed to that. But, the only other alternative for Dr. Jensen was strapping him to a papoose board. My son was traumatized, screaming at full tilt for the entire procedure. I wish I had gotten a second opinion. Also, the very next cleaning 6 months later(at my new dentist), x-rays revealed decay under the filling. The decay may not have ever been fully removed before filling.

Great office. Great Dentist. Great Staff. Ive been taking my 5 children here for over 10 years. They have always taken great care of my children. Ive never had a problem with the work that has been done. They are friendly, fast, and thorough. I would never go anywhere else! I highly recommend them!

Flexible and easy to schedule with. Fast and friendly staff. If the work lasts and is great quality this place will always be my go to. Blown away with the speed of cleanings, fillings, x-rays and sealants. Never seen anything like it. Im all about efficiency.

We love Dr. Jensen! He is friendly and great with kids! We dont pay for work that doesnt need to be done and hes fast! I can get 4 kids in for cleanings and exams with no wait time! We think hes great!!!
