I went to Dr. Larry Beall as a bipolar, traumatized youth and found that his attempts to help me left me wanting enough to the point that I would continue to go to psychologist after psychologist and psychiatrist. He blamed my depression on my mother passing away when I was young and had me mentally image things that were not useful and did not even get close to the matters at hand. I generally feel asleep during his appointments when he would attempt to psychoanalyze me because of how often I couldnt sleep at night. In my very depressed state constantly thinking of suicide and having that gone on for over a year until I was brought in, he decided to give me traditional medicine which Im sure it works for some people, but the most it did was a placebo and I recognized his therapy as being so useless that I told him I was fine because he wasnt going to be willing to give me the medication that I needed. He did help with some relaxation cds but for what I came to him for and what we were paying for, it was a great waste of our time and money

Helped my mom tremendously! Years ago Dr. Beall helped my father in law through some traumas that were negatively effecting his life. My father-in-law couldnt recommend him enough. He felt like Dr. Beall changed his life. So I brought my mom from out of state to come and work with Dr. Beall. She still says that was the best therapist shes ever seen. He was patient and compassionate and helped her work on some things that were really causing problems in her life.

Dr. Beall put my life back on a positive path. Ive since found happiness and fulfillment in a way I never thought possible. He was very professional and genuinely concerned, providing insight and direction that was desperately needed. He gave me courage to make a very needed and challenging life change. My life has since taken a 180 and now living my dream. Im so grateful. Thank you. Thank you.

I liked going to Dr. Beall because he was different than other therapists. He gave me actual "tools" to handle situations versus traditional talk therapy. I always left a session with something I could utilize. I would have continued seeing him if I had the financial means.
