Dr. Nichols is the most uncompassionate doctor that I have ever enocountered. My experience with him was several years ago when my son, who at the time was 5 years old, had just been diagnosed with autism. You can imagine our tremendous anxiety. My wife and I were referred to him as an Autism specialist. Upon calling his office, we obtained an appointment specifically to discuss my sons new diagnosis of autism. As we arrived, he personally had us sign a paper that we owed him 350 dollars for 1/2 hour of his time. My wife and I then started telling him our sons history. Meanwhile, he was busy on the computer slightly to his side, and did not make any eye contact. Initially we assumed he was taking notes, until a brief peek at the computer relvealed he was playing a computer game. He allowed us to talk for 1/2 hour. He then told us he did not specialize in Autism and had no comments to make. He gave us names of other Autism specialists. He asked for his money and showed us the way out. That was several years ago, but as one the most demeaning and disheartening experiences with any healthcare professional, it remained an indelible and bitter stain in our memories.

We have been working with Dr. Felicia Wilson for my daughters ADHD for 8 months now. Dr. Wilson conducted a neuropsychological exam, went over the results with us, and has now been working with my daughter on behavioral skills. Dr. Wilson is wonderful with my daughter and has utilized meditation and other anxiety relieveing techniques that have been helpful. The staff has always been courteous and caring.

Dr. Nicholls has done excellent/thorough evaluations on my patients, and my relatives. He then makes useful recommendations once the diagnoses are well established.

Go elsewhere, Dr. Nicholls is a totally unprofessional and out of date dinosaur doctor and his "evaluation" will be a detriment to your childs schooling and future.
