I couldnt be more thankful for Dr. Nelson and staff. I am terrified of having any sort of dentist work done to the point where it had been 8-9 years without work. i woke up one morning with my face swollen beyond belief and in incredible pain. I found Desert Rose through google randomly as they were open on Saturday and i needed help ASAP. to add to that i had 2 weeks before my insurance expired so i didnt have much time. After my first visit with my puffy face i was made aware that i needed a root canal multiple cavities filled as well as a tooth extraction and partial extraction (not what i wanted to hear). Dr. Nelson made it very easy for me to get it all scheduled and off we went. Due to the insurance expiring all this work took place in 1 week over 3 visits and maybe 6 or so hours in the chair. Walking in to day one of the root canal was a very intimidating start to the day, it took me a bit to get comfortable and relaxed but within minutes of the whole thing getting rolling i was amazed at how i felt nothing after being numbed up. No pain. No pinching. NOTHING. I went home that night and called my mom to let her know that the dentist i had visited as a child was horrible. The next procedure (3 days later) was finishing up the root canal and getting the extractions done this was the day i was worried about. The remainder of the root canal went surprisingly well (the drill they use for these was super intimidating but similarly to the previous experience i didnt feel a thing and DR.Nelson checked with me multiple times to make sure i was numb throughout the entire ordeal. The Extractions were next and took a bit more numbing before we could get cracking, this part of the procedure took a bit longer and at one point i required more numbing in order to continue. its now been over 2 weeks since this procedure and i feel much much better .Dr. Nelson and staff were absolutely fantastic to work with and i would gladly recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a good dentist in Utah. So I dread the dentist. On a recent family trip I broke of a filling and had to go. I googled dentists in Riverton and landed on Desert Rose Dental. Their website rocked and decided to give them a try. They worked me in on a Wednesday when they are usually closed and discovered the dreaded root canal. The staff was friendly, upbeat an professional without being stiff. I dont review much but these gals knew their stuff I am happy to have found a Dentist that me and my wife will be going to for years to come. ***UPDATE 4/15/14*** Tax day is already a day to celebrate and waking up with tooth pain just one week before my next exam was icing on the cake. Dr. Rachel was able to squeeze me in and fix things up again. Desert Rose Dental is amazing.

I am so glad to have found Dr. Nelson and her practice! The waiting room was calm, quiet and relaxing. Its very clear that they do not overbook appointments. Dr. Nelson took her time getting to know me and did a great job of explaining the very thorough exam she gave me--pointing out places to watch and take extra care of. She did the cleaning herself and was very gentle. Ive had bad experiences in the past with the dentist/hygienist being rough and leaving my mouth feeling sore, so it was nice to have a pleasant cleaning experience. Dr. Nelson seems genuinely concerned for and interested in her patients well being, and we will be returning to her for many years!

Im very very picky about my dental work. Raechel did an awesome job at being honest about the health of my teeth and making my visit painless! Unfortunately Dr. Nelson is no longer here and her replacement is awful. It took two hours for a simple filling and 3 shots to get it numb and two weeks later I am being treated by another dentist for jaw pain from being open too long. I would stay clear of this place. He has a practice in California so the office isnt open most days if you have a problem.

Fantastic dental experience. Best Ive had yet. They take such good care of you and the amount of time you get with Dr. Raechel nice. If youre looking for a new dentist, check this group out. If you have kids, theyll love the dentist if you take them to see Dr. Raechel.

Best dentist my husband, my 4 yr old daughter and myself have ever been to! By far! Wow! They did so great, each of us have unique teeth issues and Raechel was fantastic with effective solutions for each of our problems. She was honest, caring, and down to earth.
