My four year old needed two big cavity fillings and a tooth extraction. I felt like a horrible parent and still do. But Dr. Mirci and the dental hygienist were completely positive and nonjudgemental, I felt very comfortable. My child is already very jumpy and anxious so I worried about her staying calm during treatment. Mirci Dental offer "Kiddie Cocktail," pain meds that relax the young patient. The Kiddie Cocktail worked like a charm. She slept through the shots and cavity fillings (first appointment) and when she woke up, she said "I like that man!" (Dr. Dan Mirci) For her second appointment, she almost slept through the tooth extraction but woke up (still numb) while her tooth was getting the final yank which took about thirty seconds). It took a few minutes for me to calm her and by the time we walked to the Financial Desk she was calm and falling asleep again. When I buckled her into her carseat, Dr. Dan Mirci walked over to the car and asked her "Are we still friends?" She smiled and nodded yes. Dr. Dan Mirci is very thoughtful, kind and genuinely cares about his patients. They gave her stickers, a note to the tooth fairy and tooth in a little box. She was pretty happy about the thoughtful gifts. I had a cleaning yesterday and was nervous to see what theyd find lurking in my mouth. Before that cleaning (yesterday) I hadnt seen a dentist for five years. In the past when I did get a cleaning and an exam by the dentist I always felt embarrassed about how much work my teeth already had done and the additional work that needed to be done. They usually always questioned my flossing abilities too. When I saw how well my daughters treatment went, I felt motivated to have them clean and check my teeth. Janet did my cleaning. She made me feel completely comfortable and she made me laugh a lot. I had my four and three year old with me and she enlisted them as little helpers. She didnt have to be kind and patient with my little ones but she was and I am so grateful for good people like her. I didnt feel embarrassed at all during my cleaning by Janet and exam by Dr. Dan Mirci. I have a couple of cavities (no surprise) and a root canal. Hes going to monitor my cavities and said I have an 83% chance of having a root canal (hes funny too). I really like how conservative he is when it comes to drilling into a tooth. Its easy to see why people travel out of state to get treatment at Mirci Dental. I live about an hour away from their office and I feel like its a luxury to live that close. Me and family will always go to Mirci Dental.

If you have a phobia of the dentist, please GO HERE!!! The office is cozy, the staff is kind, the hygenist is hilarious, and the dentist himself is one of the friendliest, calmest, nicest people Ive ever had the pleasure to meet. I have a lot of teeth problems and I have only let them get worse because of my intense phobia of the dentist. Not only does Dr. Mircis team work with you and let you know youre in charge, they are also patient and knowledgeable, and they dont treat people with dentist phobias like idiots (which happens a lot of the time.) usually I have panic attacks while in the dentists chair but this time I was laughing and cracking jokes!!!! Not only that, but if youre REALLY nervous about dental work, they offer anesthesia dentistry, which Ive never, ever, EVER had offered to me (other than when I had my wisdom teeth removed.) Even things like root canals and fillings can be done in their office. I cant believe I finally found someone who was willing to work with me to fix my teeth, and didnt blame/scold/annoy me about it. I will never go anywhere else, ever.

Searched out insurence Dr Mirci would take. Paid it for a whole year so I could be cover for a procedure I have had scheduled for 6 months. Got an email all my appointments have been canceled cause I asked that we make sure not to cracking the crown on the tooth next to the one we are going to work on. Which had happened in the past with Dr Mirci. I can tell you the dental hygienist that has taken care of me the most is the best part of this practic. This latest move is something all of you will experience if you ask to much of this group. Not even one conversation with the dentist and after everything I have done to prepare for this appointment he felt justified notifying me through email. I scheduled childcare. Rides to and from the dentist as well as taking the day off from work. And hunting down insurance and paying a year just to see him. You will never know with this group.they will cancel on you if ypu do not have perfect teeth. I think maybe they want clients for just cleanings. Dr. Mirci never spoke with me once.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mirci for roughly 30 years. My recent experience: My kids are chickens and they were absolutely terrified to see the dentist. Nothing we could do would calm them down. Dr. Mirci came into the room and almost like magic, the terror my kids felt fled from them. He talked to my son about his matchbox cars, showed off his silly glasses, and the rest of the appointment breezed by. I distinctly remember feeling the same way when I was my sons age(4). I couldnt wait to go back to see him. Every time we go here, we leave feeling good about the experience. His staff is knowledgeable and kind. The dental hygienists are funny and make you feel at ease. Dr. Mirci is a warm-hearted, amazing dentist who truly cares for his patients. I hope they stick around for a very long while because I wont go to another dentist office. Ive been spoiled. :) If you come here looking for a dentist, youll find one, and youll also find a friend as well.

Dr. Mirci and his staff are great people who have treated me well for the past ~3 years of work Ive had done with them. I grew up in SLC and have been through a few dentists around the valley -- Dr. Mirci has been and continues to be the best experience for me (by far). They know what theyre doing from Dr. Mirci to the front desk to my kind and caring hygienist Brooke. Ive also had Dr. Dan -- hes a confirmation that the apple doesnt fall from the tree. A small anecdote -- on the insides of my cheeks I had some strange (but not painful) tissue develop that I hadnt had before. Nothing serious -- but Dr. Mirci took a look & some pictures, and went the extra mile to reach out to a contact of his at the U of U hospital to get an expert opinion and help me ultimately address the tissue. I cant recommend them enough -- take care of your teeth with Dr. Mirci Dental!

Dr Dan is the best!! He is very personable and takes all the time with you to make sure all your questions and concerns are answered. He gives great shots that you can hardly feel and makes sure you are comfortable through the process. His work is impeccable. Ive been to 6 Dentists in the past years and he is by far the best one. The office is warm, friendly and beautiful. All of the hygienist are very competent, thorough and get you in and out in a very timely manner. Also very friendly. Dr Dan takes the time to get to know you and asks every six months when I go in ( which tells me he really listened and remembers). If you are looking for a new Dentist, this is where you want to come!! THE BEST!!
