I’m writing this review on behalf of my mom and dad, Ellis and Betty. They are both in their eighties and they live nearby in a retirement community. They began seeing Dr. Abdeen about 6 months ago. Dad needed some extensive work that required implants and new dentures and mom needed regular check-ups, cleanings and some crowns. From the first appointment they were treated like royalty. Dr. Abdeen has been extremely kind, patient and gracious. He devised a workable plan at a reasonable price for my dad’s complicated problem that he has been able to complete with success and with almost no pain. He explained everything in great detail to my dad and me to make sure we understood the process. The staff is also excellent and highly skilled. They could not be more courteous and friendly to my parents. Theresa, the receptionist, meets them at the front door when they come to make sure they get into the office safely. She makes every effort to get them the appointments on the days and times when they want them. The office is cheerful and relaxed. Parking is easy. What’s not to like? I highly recommend Dr. Abdeen and his practice.

I searched the internet for dentists like everyone else, I read the comments here and decided to make an appointment. There was no exaggerated service as mentioned in the comments. I came to this clinic to get a dental filling due to a fracture that occurred in a filling. He gave me three injections but I still felt pain and discomfort during the drilling process. They tilt the chair back much and I felt like I was drowning because of the water used in drilling. After he placed the filling, he left the room in a hurry. I touched my tooth and felt the edge of it was sharp like a knife. His assistant tried to fix it, then she called Dr Abdeen. He grumbled and tried to correct the sharpness by cutting the healthy tooth structure. He didnt make better work than the trainee dentist who made the first filling more than 10 years ago in Turkey. I didnt see a professionalism in what he did. He found out some other problems in comprehensive oral evaluation which dont bother me now. If I feel the need, I would definitely get the dental work done both in high quality and cheaper in Turkey which cost thousands of dollars here.

Having recently moved to VA, I was on the search for a new dentist and found Alexandria Smiles online. The reviews were amazing, so I decided to set up an appointment, but I still thought it was too good to be true. I was wrong! My experience could not have been any better. I came in for one filling, but had to get a few more -- their advanced technology showed deterioration of old fillings that went undetected at my previous dentists office. Throughout the process, Dr. Abdeen consistently checked in with me to make sure I wasnt experiencing any pain or discomfort, and was just overall exceptionally friendly and caring. He also spent a great amount of time ensuring that my fillings were perfectly smooth and even. Heba, my hygienist was attentive, and the front desk ladies were very nice as well. If youre looking for a dentistry with professionalism, high competence, friendliness and comfort, look no further!

Dr Moutaz Abdeen is an excellent dentist. He took the time to explain every procedure he was doing. For example, when I got my teeth deep cleaned Dr. Moutaz was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. He is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality that helped me during sensitive and stressful time . The office staff are super professional and courteous, they meet you with a big smile , call you by your name , make you feel at home . This is my third visit , Hiba " Dr. Moutaz assistant entertained us with her dynamic personality that my wife and I forgot that we are at a dentist office , for me that is very comforting , I could proudly say I no longer have a dental phobia , thanks to Dr. Moutaz and Hiba , I would recommend Dr. Moutaz to everyone. He is the best dentist I have ever had and will continue to have .

I just got back from the office of Dr. Abdeen, he is great to work with, honest. If you are looking for a trustworthy, genuine and experienced dentist, this is the one place. I went to his new Alexandria office. He puts the human needs first, well-mannered, professional and he cares. I got my root canal and crown treatment there. Two other dentists said it would be tough and hard to do--he worked on it and did it right. In the last two month I have seen four dentists, by far he is my favorite and he took his time. I hope not to have any dental problems, but if I do I know I can count on Dr. Abdeen.

I first came to see Dr. Abdeen to replace and old crown. He did such an outstanding job, I decided to crown 9 other teeth which were not in good condition and needed attention. I am extremely happy with the results, they all look so natural I cant stop smiling. Dr. Abdeens calm and kind manner made me feel at ease during the entire process. He uses and artistic eye to create a winning smile for his clients. His office staff and assistants are also charming and attentive. To conclude, this is the best dental experience I have had in 50 years. I highly recommend Dr. Abdeen.

If you need a good dentist, then you have arrived to the right practice. Dr. Abdeen is a caring dentist who goes above and beyond to help his patients. My family loves his work and his touch. We like that he always advises us on what to do best. Like the time when my spouse had toothache and and the X-ray wont show anything. He went in there and found the dead nerves and fixed the problem right away. We have seen many dentist before, but more of them, do not care that much or just want to sell us something. Dr. Abdeen gives good advise and delivers good dental care.

My sisters and I go to Dr. Abdeen. He is a pleasent man and his staff is very helpful. Everything went right, place was colorful and bright, Dr. Abdeens technique even made it so I didnt feel the needles initial poke when applying the Novocain. Was my first time as he is new in town but I have never had a resident Dentist I always hopped around for location convenience to work but I will now go out of my way if I have to as this is now the home to my teeth. Oh, and I even played basketball with the boys 2 hours after :) I plan to do my invisiline soon!

I dont usually post a review, however I must after my experience with Alexandria Smiles Dentistry. If you need a dentist for any reason, Alexandria Smiles Dentistry is your best option. The staff make you feel comfortable and are extremely caring and devoted to you. My experience was a 10/10! I had to undergo a root canal, and the Dr. made me feel at ease and was extremely professional. They are even willing to work with you if finances are low. I highly recommend this establishment. I finally found a dentist I like and plan on staying with them.
