BEWARE!! This will be the worst experience you’ll ever have at any medical facility, period. I’m not kidding. And not a single word of this review is exaggerated. There is no parking. You are required to park down the road, at the entrance to a major Interstate, and give your keys to some random lot attendant who double- and triple-parks cars for this facility. I hope your insurance is up to date and there is nothing of value in the car, because they assume zero responsibility. Once you get in the building, the elevators don’t work. You’ll have to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to Suite 500. Suite 500 is a 20’x20’ room with no windows or ventilation and is as packed as an East Indian traincar. This Dermatologist triple- and quadruple-books patients so there will be 50 to 60 people in this tiny waiting room and you will be standing for most of the 90 minutes you will be waiting past your scheduled appointment. The people sitting in this fire-code-violating waiting room will become rightfully pissed and the loudest complainers will be swiftly advanced to the front of the queue and be seen ahead of you, no matter how long you’ve been patiently waiting. Once you finally see one of these random dermatologists (I didn’t get to see the Dr. I scheduled with) you will get a no-lie, 30-second, best-guess assessment because they are trying so hard to manage the rampaging crowd and get them in and out as quick as possible. To top it all off, they will call in the wrong prescription to your pharmacist, and then refuse to return his calls. I hope your pharmacist is competent enough to not give you the overdose Capital Dermatology called in for you. All of this happened to me today, and I can prove every single word of it. I welcome the opportunity to share any details of today with anyone considering going to this dermatologist. You are better off just googling whatever random rash you have – you’ll probably get a better diagnosis. Or just drive the distance to someone else; anyone else. Again, BEWARE!! I warned you. Hit me up after you go, and tell me I was spot on.

Dont make the mistake of trusting this practice! My family just moved to the area and I needed to start a relationship with a dermatologist. I have had several pre-cancerous moles removed so its very important to me to see a dermatologist twice a year. My first appointment with Dr. Glassman went like this: The waiting room was packed and i waited for over an hour--even though i had an APPOINTMENT. I dismissed this as big city problems and thought that if he was in such demand he must be good. Anyway, I finally got back to the exam room and the nurses got me to take my clothes off and got me ready for the doc to come in and....i waited another 30 minutes. When he finally arrived it was basically like speed dating. He was actually talking really fast!!! I kid you not, he was really trying to get done with me in like 3 minutes. It gets worse...I told him i had a questionable mole on my stomach. He looked at it and said "it is fine" then started trying to close out the appointment. I insisted that the mole had grown and could he look at it again... He impatiently said "if you want me to cut it out i will" As if to say its fine, but if youre going to whine about it ill cut it off. He cut it off and sent it off to be tested to appease me...IT CAME BACK WITH IRREGULAR CELLS and they rescheduled me to cut more margins out a month later!!!! I missed the appointment and they required that I pay 200.00 BEFORE THEY WOULD SEE ME AGAIN!!! This crowd is concerned about one thing GETTING YOU IN,OUT AND TAKING YOUR MONEY!! They dont care about your health one bit. Ill be surprised if he doesnt put in a drive thru next!!!

Dr. Colombo was brief and courteous, my larger issue is with their office staff and their "online pharmacy." The office staff was initially pleasant, although my wait time was not ideal. The follow-ups asking for assistance have not been as pleasant or helpful. I am concerned about their usage of an online pharmacy and my inability to obtain copies of my prescriptions. They electronically transfer prescriptions to Loudoun Family Pharmacy. This pharmacy is not-responsive to requests for fulfillment or questions about the medicines prescribed. I contacted the office asking them to reach out to the pharmacy and the young lady at the desk said that if I wanted copies of the prescriptions to have them filled elsewhere, I would have to make another appointment with the doctor (of course, paying the $100+ visit fee). I am past frustrated because I do not understand how obtaining either the medicines prescribed or a copy of the prescription to get the medicine should be this difficult. I have called the pharmacy numerous times, waiting on hold and leaving messages. I have returned to the doctors office, called twice and have now left a second message with the office manager in hopes that I can have some resolution. I will update, if anything is done, however, as it stands, I would not recommend this office.

If youre a fan of feeling like a chicken trapped in a cage then this waiting room is the place for you! My appointment was at 9AM so I arrived 15 minutes early in hopes they would call me back ON TIME. An hour and 15 minutes later I am called back into a room with a doctors physician. We go over the normal stuff "Whats going on with you today" followed by "The doctor will be in shortly". The term shortly is apparently code word for 25 minutes from that time. When the Dr. arrived it was simple, quick, and too the point. I am mostly aggravated with the wait time and how they treat their patients. One after another as quickly as possible as if they are paid by commission for each patient. A doctor should take his/her time with the patient to understand what they are in for. NOT to rush them in and out with an absurd wait time. On top of all of this I am told my prescriptions will be ready an hour after by visit. I then head to work where I am there for 8 hours. I head to my pharmacy after my 8 hour day and what do you know? My prescription were never received by Capital Dermatology. I am happy to say I wont be going back there. Crowded, rushed, and all around inconvenient to visit this practice.

I cant see how you can blame the practice for the parking issue when there are many other tenants in this building. I have made 2 visits to see Dr. Nasabzadeh which is very pleasant. The entire staff whether the front office or the medical staff are very approachable and professional. The unfortunate is that I have not yet been able to get attention for my plaque psoriasis and arthritis, but thats no fault of the practice. my insurance company for what ever reason refuses to pay the claim. I will say Im not happy with the scheduling. You show up on time and have to wait 30-40 minutes after your scheduled time. The office seems to always be congested with patients. Im sure its a common practice to over book. They have a large staff they have to financially accommodate. My second concern is that its hard to get someone to touch base with you per your situation. Im not sureif its because they have too many clients or its based on whether you end up getting approved or denied. Im sure some where in there you do this type of business because you do care about people, but then its a profitable business when you have to pay almost $3,500 for Humira injections.
