My bad experience with this practice had to do with the Billing department. It looked like we had gotten a duplicate bill so before I paid it, I called. Now we all know how confusing doctors bills are, and this practice is no exception. No matter what my question, no matter how silly it seemed to the woman whose responsibility it was to help me understand so I could help pay her salary, I deserved patience and respect. What I got was ridicule and a patronizing attitude. And then when I asked about a biopsy bill I had received from another lab that matched the biopsy description on Dr. Shahabadis bill, I was told that I should know that the biopsy on their bill was for the dermatology procedure and the biopsy on labs bill was for the actual biopsy. Really? So, the bottom line is that we will not be visiting Dr. Shahabadi again and it is because of their rude billing "department."

the bad experience ever :( she should knows what means an emergency specially for the skin, I visited her office to treat a dark spots after pregnancy, she gives me from her office a bleach and night cream for daily usage, cost me 138$. when I started using the medication, all my face getting red, eaching, dry and pelling, I called her, she was out of town, and the pharmacist recomand me to stop the medication immediatly, I left her a msg, she called me back and suggest to use it twice a week,,,,if isnt working, I shoud do laser. I called her again because my eyes heurts me, getting red and dry, but......Oh My God, she dosent care about me as a patient and follow my case. so BIG X and unfortunatly I dont recommand her as a Dermatologist 0/0

I agree with every body that the entire front-desk staff (one star if that) should be replaced for caring, and with people-skills professionals. They act as if they are making one a favor in going to their office. Rude at times, not sure if that is part of their training... Most assistants to the doctors are nice. In regards to Dr. Shahabadi and Mirali, they are incredible good, sometimes you may find them a bit in a rush but in general very professionals and they are incredible good at what they do. They will recommend the right treatment, not just the most expensive ones. Great results with time. Summary: Front-Desk NEGATIVE ... NO STARS Billing THREE STARS Doctorss assistants FOUR STARS DOCTORS FIVE STARS

My wife had an appointment time of 8:30am, we arrived at 8:45am due an unusually busy traffic day and were told that the appointment needs to be rescheduled....HUH! We were repeatedly told that office policy states that all patients who arrive 15 mins or more past their appointment time will have to reschedule for a different day....no ifs, ands or buts about it, and there is nothing that anybody can do...again "Its The Policy". No complaints about the doctor, Dr Shahabadi is great, but if you cant get in to see her and on top of that have to deal with the inflexible and cold staff then whats the point. If your office is that busy and you stick to a strict 15 min late policy then patients should be told upfront.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Terrible Terrible Service. We made appointment at ZocDoc for 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday. We received a confirmation email. Took the day off work, etc. Called the day before since we hadnt received a call. They told us they havent confirmed the appointment and cant come in until the 25th. Mind you this was on the 3rd of February. No apology, no anything, just sorry. When I told her I would let my feelings be known everywhere, said have a good day. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service.

Worst Dermatologist in Virginia. She was very inconsiderate, rushed, and did not provide me with the correct prescription. She canceled my appointment, due to overbooking, and then turned the missed appointment charge into a collection agency. I feel harassed and abused and I hope this crook doesnt get money from anyone else. Poor service and overall a terrible experience. I plan on reporting them to the BBB, Yelp, and Pissed consumer.

Terrible experience. The dermatologist was annoyed she had to do her job and was in a huge hurry making her incredibly dismissive and making the appointment a total waste of time and money. She should probably find a new profession if thats her attitude towards (not) doing her job and how she treats her patients.
