I have been taking my cats to Northside since 1989. I love this place and I love all the vets and technicians. I started with Dr. McClure, the father, then went to Dr. Adam McClure, the son, and now also see his wife, Fiona, who used to be a specialist at Southpaws. Dr. Hahn is equally wonderful. They do not over diagnose nor do they underdiagnose. They follow-up on everthong. When one of my cats had to be put to sleep, Dr. McClure even came to my house because travelling in a car was such a traumatic experience for her. He worked very hard to make everything as painless and untraumatic as possible (as much as you can when forced into this situation). I guess my one quibble is that they do not take Care Credit which allows me the ability to pay very expensive vet bills in installments. But all vets in this area are pricey and they did allow me to pay one very expensive bill in installments to them directly. They definitely will work with you as a long term customer.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr. Adam McClure. He is what a vet should be: kind, compassionate, and caring. My dog Winnie had been seen by Dr. McClure off and on since 1998. When Winnies health really began failing at the ripe age of 16 1/2, I knew I had to make the decision to end her discomfort. Dr. McClure knew how anxious Winnie was going to the vet in the past, and so he selflessly offered to come to my place. Winnie went to sleep peacefully on her mommys bed, surrounded by her friends and family, and Dr. McClure was absolutely amazing. All my friends were floored that I had a vet that cared that deeply about his patients. If you want a vet that REALLY cares about you and your pet, then you want Dr. Adam McClure.

Drs. Fiona and Adam McClure are outstanding veterinarians. We have long had two much beloved golden retrievers, and seen many different vets -- both general and specialty. Were very conservative and rather picky about who cares for our dogs. Our experience with Northside has been excellent. Fiona and Adam, as well as their staff, really know our dogs and their medical history. They are well trained, Fiona was formerly an internist at South Paws, and well connected in the veterinary community. They have referred us to some outstanding specialist when needed. I can honestly say Fiona and Adam have earned our trust as theyve cared for our dogs over the years.

It is true that if you really want to start coming here, you will have to wait until "spots open up." But it was totally worth the wait! I think the clinic limits the amount of animals they see to make sure that the quality of their service remains high. The Northside Vet Clinic is not cramped like most other vet hospitals, there is rarely any wait (if any at all) and I love that the doctors recommend other-than-medications for some of the minor illnesses. They take the time to explain the treatment plans and are very gentle with the pets. We love it here!

They are truly a pleasure to visit. I always feel like they have the best interest of my pet at heart, and are never using the opportunity just to make an extra buck. Theyve always guided me to what they think is best, which has often been the option that doesnt cost me anything, because a costly treatment or exam is unlikely to yield any different outcome. I cant say enough positive things about the practice, and about Dr McLure. They have been wonderful, through some trying times.

My cat started acting weird over the weekend, so I needed to find somewhere to take him on Monday ( I dont have a regular vet since moving to town recently). I called here to see if he could be fit in and was turned away not because there wasnt space to fit him in, but because they are apparently not accepting new patients. My thought has always been that vets wanted the help animals... what kind of place turns a sick cat away?

Drs. Adam and Fiona McClure at Northside Veterinary Clinic have been taking care of our dog since almost the day we brought her home in 2004. They are knowledgable, friendly, courteous, respectful, and go above and beyond to make sure our dog is healthy and has a great quality of life. They take the time to talk with us and answer our questions. We highly recommend Northside Veterinary Clinic.

I was looking around on Google today for a new vet since I am new to town and am very glad I found this one. Everyone was super nice from the nice woman at the desk who got me in for a much needed appointment same day to the Vet himself and every helper in between. The Vet took the time to ask questions and talk about Luna even though the visit was only for a nail clipping. I will be back.

The doctors at Northside Veterinary clinic are excellent!! We have been taking all of our animals to Northside for years because of the kindness, gentleness and knowledge of the staff and doctors. The McClures always take time to answer our questions and talk with us about our concerns. I would not trust anyone else to care for our pets except Northside.

Love the doctors McClure. They cared for our dachshund Shortie for three years and did a wonderful job helping us manage his Cushings Disease. Although our beloved pup is no longer with us, I often think fondly of Dr. Fiona and Dr. Adam and would definitely use them again if we lived closer to the office.

The Vets at Northside were great with my daughter when they treated her sick 1year old Golden/Doodle ( Duncan). Now, my daughter wants to become a Veterinarian when she grows up.
