I switched from a horrible gynecologist experience to Greenbrier Gynecology in hopes that I could get serious help with my female issues. The first few times I have been I have waited over two hours after my appointment just to be seen. I have talked to other patients waiting and they said it is normal to wait hours on a normal day. I have also talked to a lady sitting next to me scheduled to see the same doctor from a conversation I overheard and asked her what time her appointment was since we had been sitting there for hours and she was scheduled not only with the same doctor as me but at the same exact time. The nurses are amazing here. They are friendly and willing to answer questions and help but I cant say the same for the doctors. I can honestly say I am a number to this establishment. I never receive my "abnomal pap" results in the mail but I am sure to get a bill. I was told I have pre-cervical cancer in such a cold and uncaring manner. There is no time to ask questions and to even try you get a look like you are stupid for even questioning their authority. I have had serious questions after a biopsy and another abnormal pap and I have called several times on a Friday, Monday and Tuesday and when I was lucky to get through they had me on hold forever. I had to explain a long drawn out story several times in order to talk to the Dr.s nurse and no one came to talk to me. I have given my information out several times for them to call and I have never received a phone call in order to answer questions, schedule another biopsy, or even just out of concern from my doctor for having multiple calls. I would recommend this place if you are perfectly healthy and only have to come in once a year for a check up. I would not come here if your health matters to you and you have medical issues. They overbook and doublebook patients to doctors. You will wait hours to see someone. I have seen them bring in people who had to take off work and they didnt even have an appointment to begin with. You are a number whose concerns do not matter to them. If I could find another gynecologist that will accept my insurance I would switch today. I am still waiting on a return phone call from that office. I have no plans on returning but trying to find a caring doctor that will help me.

My daughters and I have been coming here for a couple of years now and although the doctors and nurses are great we have had a few problems with wait times and billing. I came in for a 1:00 appointment in the afternoon and was not called back until 3:30 and that was only because I complained that I had a 4:00 somewhere else. I did not make that 4:00 appointment and had to cancel. Although wait times have been long, that was the longest one. Billing - can someone explain to me why my bill says "0-30 Days Current" but there is a sticker on my bill that is highlighted and says, "FINAL BILL If we do not receive your payment immediately, you account will go to collections." The bill is for $11.44. So I call to talk to someone and as usual, I am hung up on SIX times before someone actually says "Hello". I never made it to the billing person - They are out today and will call you when they come back. The appointment that we had for this bill is the first appointment in six months and we had a zero balance before it. Not happy with this, but the doctors are really great and listen to you. Hopefully I will hear back from them.

Wonderful experience while I was pregnant. I would like to warn all women to not get a tubal ligation. Just had mine done three months ago. I am having beyond horrific side effects. It feels like I am pregnant with horrible pregnancy symptoms. The back pain is horrible and the cramps and horrible.. I itch horribly and a lot of other HORRIBLE things.. I have been to the E R twice and back to their practice twice. They do not care at all. Only about delivering babies. The did not explain what was wrong with me. They keep just basically not caring. I had to do my research to figure out what is going on. There is maybe one week out of every month I feel normal. Only go to these people if you want a great pregnancy experience but they dont care about you after that. I am currently trying to scramble up thousands for a reversal. Keep in mind I just got this done.

I switched over to Greenbrier ObGyn from a recommendation from a friend, and I truly love this place. My first doctor here was Pamela Smith, and she was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to explain test results, answer questions, etc. Once I got pregnant, I had to switch to Dr. Angela Ferebee (because Dr. Smith doesnt work with pregnancies). Dr. Ferebee is also an absolutely wonderful doctor. My concerns are always addressed, she answers questions, takes the time to listen and explain to you, and is truly a great doctor. The wait times are extremely long compared to other practices so you definitely have to take half a day off work if you have a 9am appointment, but the doctors are thorough and will sit with you and make sure you do not feel rushed during your appointments.

First I would like to say that the staff here is extremely nice and seem very knowledgeable, thats the best thing I can say about this place after one appointment. I was originally supposed to see another doctor, but they switched me over to Dr. Hairston, who is also very nice. But beware, if you are young and want to talk to her about getting your tubes tied, she wont do it, because of her personal beliefs. Apparently I am too young to decide I never want children, but old enough to pop out as many babies as I want (and who knows, I could be a terrible mother!) I will not be coming back to this practice, I need a doctor who will let me decide what is best for my body and my life and not let their personal beliefs decide for me.

Will never return!! I want to have a peaceful experience to some degree with people that care of my well being. This is a stressful assembly line meat market. We drove an hr from NC line for our appts. But they only saw my daughter because they were running behind so that had to Skip my appt. and make for another day. At that point I asked for the business office manager and she was just as awful and neglecting as Doc. Smith. Doc. Smith said "I can do you REAL QUICK but we are running behind today". Unreal!? So I pay the same for the visit but get half the care. The other staff members were nice. But for complex care needed this is not the place to go. Very uncomfortable! Beware! Be careful!

Dr. Whitted was the absolute best. He was professional and knowledgable, but still down to earth with great bedside manner. He had to perform an obstetric surgery that I was in need of. He came highly recommended & from beginning to end, I was not disappointed. When I voiced my needs & concerns, he. showed that he truly heard me...and my input mattered. The wait times WERE ridiculously long, but once I got back to the doctor, I understood why. I never felt rushed to ask and have all of my questions answered. So...I kind of felt (big picture) that the wait times were worth the quality care.
