This is the lab I go to all the time because my Medicare supplemental insurance takes this with no co-payment, so I have learned to live with the shortcomings. The last time I was there I was the only person in the waiting room and no one was having lab work but I still had to wait for over 20 minutes. But once I got inside, blood was taken quickly, painlessly and without any bruising WHICH IS TYPICAL. Yes, as someone else said, they have never heard of HIPAA and patient privacy, so remind them to please keep their voice down, I do, and I whisper, well, speak softly.

Ever heard of HIPAA? Well, these folks havent. I got to sit in the waiting room for 2 hours, listening to multiple conversations that not only gave my name and date of birth, but that repeatedly discussed the names of the tests that were ordered. Mind you, these folks sit at a window that is meant to slide closed to protect patient privacy, but they cant be bothered. As a bonus, Tracey is especially unpleasant and will let you know she cant be bothered to do her job. I would rather spend a day at the DMV than go back to this LabCorps.

I really like this place when lab work is needed. The ladies and gentlemen that work here are friendly. Though they are sometimes slow in getting you to the back even though they dont appear busy and there arent many in the waiting room, I still prefer this place over any other including the hospital (Chesapeake)across the street. My only other tiny issue would be that they keep it very cold in there. Other than that, theyre efficient in doing their job and I prefer them over all the other places Ive tried.

Love how quickly I have been able to pop in and get seen. I realize there are times they are busy, and I understand the wait, but when I dont make an appointment and just stop in, I have always been seen pretty quickly. The techs are the best at taking blood without any issues and that means a lot to someone who is a bit scared of giving blood!

I had an appointment. Waited an hour just for them to check my id and insurance. They are definitely short staffed. Then they told me they didnt have the order. But they did call my doctor to get the fax expedited. I was there for an hour and a half.

Ugly bruises that Ive never had before. Third time was fine. Cant guarantee everyone is professional. DO set an appointment and go in 30 minutes ahead of the time. Wait time foor walk-ins usually 45 minutes. Wish me luck, fourth blood test.

Easy to make an appointment online, and when you want. Pretty slow compared to other labs and compared to number of people waiting with getting people in and out
