From the survey that I sent to Quest: "I was a walk-in customer. Once I was brought back to the stations, I received excellent service from Vanessa. I presented a very long list of obscure blood test needed by my Doctor. Vanessa patiently keyed in each and every one, checking with my Dr.s office and her co-worker, Nora, to ensure hat every test was correctly entered. She even went so far as to work with more senior co-workers, Tasha and Octavia, to Quality Control her entries and the tests required for them. As a professional Business Consultant and Certified Project Manager, I was quite struck but this unusual level of high quality service. I couldnt be more pleased with the staff. The same cannot be said for the support (or total lack therefore) which the staff receives. The receptionist/greeter has been replaced by two unlabeled iPads for "check-in". These impersonal devices, which I watched confuse and disorient more senior customers, prevented me from asking simple questions prior to checking in to ensure that I would be able to receive the obscure tests which I required. Since there was literally no effort to label or instruct customers on how to use them, I and others first stood in the lobby for a full ten minutes before registering trying to ask someone my questions. (This additional delay was not reflected in my survey.) To make matters worse, a routine phone call to the location about a simple question today redirected me to a voicemail system. The system informed me that, "The mailbox is full and cannot take your message at this time. Goodbye." I specialize in impenting new technology to automate business (SAP and Oracle). I am severely disappointed that Quest has chosen to ignore proven best practices. Other offices in our area use similar check-in technology to these tablets too supplement service, allowing people to check-in while a receptionist is occupied. The message sent by this replacement of service personnel is that Quest is not fully committed to either service or quality. This causes me to question not only whether I will receive top quality lab results, but also if Quest will be able to retain the high quality staff that it currently employs. And that causes me to question if I should ever choose Quest again."

I give blood frequently and am aware of how to get the best results from my rolling veins. I went to this location and mentioned my condition and the person taking the blood was so inept and apathetic that I was bruised from a simple butterfly which has never bruised me before. I felt she intentionally used more force than necessary to take the blood and she had to use both arms just to fill the vials. She pretended to care and I am so incensed that she would enter at one point and leave a blood bubble at another. Its not ok. we have to trust people who dont want to do their jobs and they still get paid for hurting you. I wasnt trying to tell her how to do her job, I just know after several admissions to the hospital which needle produces the best results. I believe she got offended because I asked her to use a butterfly. Mean. Really mean. The civility in me stopped me from running out of bullets. They need to check the attitudes in this place. They are not healthy at all. I am attaching pix only because the bruising has not gone away and this is not normal.

Staff were slow, and the staff member that called me back seemed as if she had an attitude problem. She was rude, and spoke to me in a manner that was less than desirable. Not to mention Ill have to go back another day b/c there wasnt enough of the specimen to diagnose. That is not her fault, but perhaps she needs to take a customer service class in order to do this job. I am not a morning person either, so believe me I understand if that was her issue, but morning person or not when dealing with my customers/clients I have to suck it up and she should have too. One of the worst experiences I have encountered in a long time and I am NOT looking forward to having to go back there.

I made an appointment to get my blood drawn and came in a few minutes early. After signing in, it wasnt even five minutes when they called me into the back and took care of me. This also happened to be the day that most businesses were closing early due to the blizzard that was hitting Maryland with around 18 inches of snow. The only problem (and not really their fault, necessarily) is that since the snow caused them to be closed the next day, one batch of tests that they needed to run on a blood sample did not get done, so they had me come back in (no appointment) and got one more sample. Again, quick and easy (though, not painless).

Horrible experience on several occasions! I can put up with rude employees but they did not do the tests my doctor ordered after I had to go for a week without medication that I needed to have out of my system in order to do the test. I restarted the medicine after the blood was drawn. Now my doctor does not have the information needed to make medical decisions!! I will have to stop the medication again because of their mistake . I have to suffer the consequences of their mistake!

Second time coming to this location and each time was an uninviting experience. I do not like the staff here. They are extremely unwelcoming and youre lucky if you get any response from them. I tell them thank you and I get a "mm hmm". with a smirk on their face. I am a quiet and reserved person and I never like to start problems but this place has made me feel uncomfortable twice already. I will not be coming back here again. I suggest no one to come here.

When I arrived there were 2 ppl in front of me 1hr later Im still waiting for someone to even call my name. Seems to be very short staff went on a Wednesday around 10am. No one is at the front desk seems staff are working front desk and drawing blood. I will never go to another quest again. Slow service, no one came to explain that hey we are running behind not nothing. Only went to take a urine test have been holding my bladder for over an hr now.

I have been to this location numerous times for the past couple of years for blood tests. I must say that as of a few years ago I was very unhappy with the attitudes of the employees here. They acted like they were doing you a favor by even talking to you. The past year things have improved a lot. They are more friendly and courteous. I dont mind going there now. I highly recommend the place now.

Stay away from this location. I called on Thursday to see what time they close and a woman said 5pm. I get to the office at 4:15pm and the doors locked and blinds shut. I called back and she said "I am done for today. Im getting ready to go home." I told her its not yet 5pm, I needed to get a Drug Test done and she could care less and hung up on me.
