FACT: Doctors try to stay on schedule but sometimes something serious is going on with a patient that cannot be predicted until that person is seen. Im sure they would take longer with you if necessary too. FACT: Most physicians offices charge for late and missed appointments. If you are going to miss your appointment call their office ASAP. Its rude to miss an appointment without calling. And you SHOULD be charged if you come in late and have to reschedule. Youre infringing on some other patients time at that point. FACT: Most offices charge for copy of records. That takes time to do. FACT: By LAW if you are on certain meds you need to be seen regularly to monitor them. That means a quick physical and monitoring blood work. You complainers would probably be the first to sue if your doctor gave you meds and something went wrong because they didnt see you for follow-ups. FACT: Front desks in all professions can get hectic and people can get stressed out. They reception does their best but sometimes it gets crazy. Have some patience. Are you perfect? NO ONE IS. I have been going to this group for almost 30 years and have never had any problems with them that would make me leave.

Watch out. This practice has recently moved, and seems to be in financial difficulties. An angry office manager type used to present everyone at the former location with a long form we "had" to sign, of punishments for missing or being late for appointments. After the move, she made the punishments more severe! I stood directly to the left in February 2017 as she shouted the entire long page of text of these strictures to an elderly man perhaps in his eighties. I dont know why she did such a thing, but this place is going to be up on charges of elder abuse if they go on like that, and I would gladly testify. The three doctors I know about there are of advanced age and one cannot speak English. Two I saw were an hour late each: apparently the 20-minutes-late-and-youre-out rule applies only to their customers, not to the docs. I suggest people avoid this practice, Medical Health Group at 1415 Rt. 152 in the Joppa area. If you do go, avoid signing any weird forms a scowling, stout blond woman hands you.

This place is horrendous. I have never had such horrible experience in a doctors office except for this place. The staffing in the front desk have horrible attitudes. This place seems like they are truly out to get you financially, regardless if the doc sees you for 5min but youve waited over an hour or 2. The wait is over an hour (thats out in the lobby) then when they bring you to the back, youre looking at another 30-45 min wait. They bill you even when you havent been medically examined. Their excuse for the bill is "you were back there for a "lengthy time." The billing director is useless and very unprofessional. DO NOT EVER COME HERE TO HAVE PAPERWORK SIGNED!!! They will bill you, even when the doctor doesnt perform any assessment or examination. What a complete waste of time. I wish I could take that 1 star away. Your office does not merit a single positive rating.

Front desk is atrocious, well one person in particular!!!! This girl was combative and condensing, with the maturity to match. There was no sense of care in her demeanor but a sense of entitled arrogance. Each and every person that walks through that door is in need of a doctor. With that said there should be more care and understanding when interacting with the customer. Debating with the customer is absolutely inexcusable. Aa for the doctors and nurses, they are amazing!!! Too bad the first encounter leaves a bad image of MHG. Front desk is in desperate need of training and spot checkers to rate them appropriately. Maybe then they will be respectful and mature.

I had seen a PA at this new office who told me I needed like 5 labs to get one thing tested. I knew this because they only tested that one thing in the past with a different doctor. Next I see a doctor who is very helpful with a great bedside manner. He says he will find out if a med is covered by my insurance and never calls. I just tried calling three times to leave a message to be asked to hold each time with an average of 10 minutes before I had to hang up. Get the staff to cover your office if you are that busy!

Sometimes you have to wait in a doctors office. Knowing this going in makes it easier for me to "wait" perhaps the persons ahead of me are having really difficult/serious medical problems Maybe there was a medical emergency with a patient and they need more doc time. I know when I needed more time, I was given more time, and I appreciated that. Going to the doctor is never fun. I like my doc and while the new office is further away, I will take that ride up 95.

Phone is always busy making it impossible to schedule or change appointments. Website does not function well to leave messages either. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!! Also suggest WAY more follow up appointments than truly necessary so they can bill more $$$$$. Very disappointed and will go elsewhere

Very unprofessional director told me I was waisting her intelligence buy asking her a question about a bill. Best way to describe is jiffy lube of medicine in and out in 3 hours. If I could make it 0 I would
