Dr. Freedman is hands down the best Doctor ever! He is extremely patient and attentive. Unlike other Doctors who lately seem to think the best way to have an appointment is with their backs turned on you typing at a computer. Dr. Freedman does not have one in the examination room at all. It is all, one on one, face to face, with total focus on what you as the patient are concerned about. My personal story is way too involved to type here, but I will say that I could never have had a better patient advocate than Dr. Freedman when it came to my being admitted into the hospital. Everyone questioned my being admitted as they were not as concerned as he was about my symptoms. Turns out, everyone else was wrong and he was totally correct in getting them to admit me. I ended up needing emergency surgery which confirmed exactly what Dr. Freedman was concerned about. I am fortunate and will forever be grateful for him going to bat for me. If you are looking for a new Primary Care Physician, look no further than Dr. Freedman and the entire staff at the Evolve Clinic.

Finally a doctor who takes the time to find a reason and a solution to the problem! I was referred here by a friend for fairly sever neck pain I was experiencing following a chiropractic visit. First let me say the office is beautiful. You feel like you are at a spa more than a doctors office. I went on a Saturday because my doctor was closed and had absolutely no wait. Dr. Freedman was attentive and showed legitimate concern for my condition, and while an immediate solution was not really possible, he was extra cautious and referred to to get an X-ray. Unfortuantelt that meant going to the ER, but I am glad I went to be sure there were no serious injuries. He offered his consult after hours, and followed up with me to see how things were going (never had that before). He went an extra step and called AAMC to look at my results from the scan and provide his suggestions for treatment. If only this was the way medical care was everywhere we would all be healthier and happier. What an amazing standard to set for the all practices, not just urgent care.

After moving to Annapolis 9 months ago, I very reluctantly found myself in acute need of a doctors care. With limited time I searched the web and based my decision to go to Evolve medical center on the positive reviews I read. Dr. Freedman and his staff did not let down. It felt as though I was their number 1 priority. His approach to medicine and patient care couldnt have put me more at ease especially with a 5 day stay in the hospital. I cant describe how thankful I am that I found Dr. Freedman, Deborah Needles, CRNP and his entire staff. He is a doctor who really cares and really listens. I, needless to say, joined their group to ensure they would be part of my health regimen moving forward. Whatever your health needs, I feel strongly about recommending Dr Freedman and his great staff . Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dr. Freedman is incredibly intelligent, experienced, and knowledgeable. He has fantastic bedside manner and he truly listens and respects you. Generally speaking, any standard Dr., unfortunately, does not remember you, youre just another face and youre in and out within 5 minutes and within those 5 minutes, most of the doctors attention is focused on the computer screen that theyre jotting the information down on, barely looking up to see who you are. Fortunately, this is not the case with Dr. Freedman, he takes his time and confirms all details of your visit. He instantly made me feel comfortable and I felt assured that he will take care of anything that presents itself. The office is beautiful and very conveniently located; his staff is very friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Freedman.

Absolutely enjoyable doctors visit...and I do not say that often! I had to take my 12-year-old son to have a cut/infection on his leg looked at. I scheduled his appointment online the night before taking him in. We arrived 5 min before our appointment time and were taken back right on time! After the nurse took some information and vitals, Dr. Freedman was with us within 5 min!! He talked to us while looking at my sons leg and examining him. He told us what to do, wrote a prescription for the infection, and we were finished! My son came walking out saying "This place is GREAT mom!" I can honestly say that he has never said that about leaving an acute visit before! Thank you Dr. Freedman and staff for making a nervous 12-year-old very comfortable and happy with his appointment!

Bottom Line: The concept might serve a niche market but that means significantly less wait times and people on each visit. I bookmarked Evolve Medical Clinics a few years ago and mentally noted that if I ever needed to go to urgent care this was the place to go. Recently I needed to go to urgent care and I was so glad that Evolve was in my rolodex per se because it was the best experience you could expect for urgent care. The reception area feels hip rather than sterile and I love the historic Annapolis photographs in the waiting area. All of the staff was kind and Dr. Freedman was great too. I was taken back quickly and was in and out of there in less than 40 minutes.

Just established care with Dr. Ricker as my PCP and shes great. Dr. Ricker was so thorough, going through my medical history to establish an agenda of treatment. She explained everything clearly. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. In this day and age of a doctors visit in your room feeling more like a pit stop, I was so happy to see the doctor actually take the time to listen, and both ask and answer questions. I was also happy to not walk out with questions in my mind, in contrast to some former experiences with other physicians. The rest of the staff was courteous and professional. You dont see this quality of care so often.

Evolve felt more like a spa than a doctors office with its dimly lit waiting area and soothing music. But beyond a nice ambiance, Evolves staff genuinely seemed to care about providing excellent customer service, and I didnt have to wait forever to be seen. When I was seen, I didnt feel like I was being rushed out the door. I particularly appreciated that the doctor didnt have his face in an iPad the entire time. I know many doctors use the iPad now, but it drives me nuts when they cant seem to look away from a screen to talk to me. My experience at Evolve was better than that at my PCP. I highly recommend this place if you need medical care.

Fantastic clinic! I first found out about this clinic by browsing through reviews and was impressed by how they were consistently well rated. I decided to give them a try and was beyond impressed! The staff is very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable and when I had issues with my insurance company they made extra effort to ensure that I received the best care and medicine. Its easy to get an appointment and little to no wait time. The waiting room is also beautiful, looking more like an art gallery instead of the typical boring and impersonal rooms of most clinics and hospitals.
