We have been customers here since moving to the area in 2005. The doctors and staff are great. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and the doctors take time to get to know your pets and explain needed care. Our current cats are fairly young and healthy, but they were so wonderful and supportive when it was time to say goodbye to our previous cat. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Also they donated time to speak to my sons scout group and do a field trip a few years ago. Cant say enough good things about this practice.

We adopted our 5 year old cat last fall. We had no idea where to go for vet care and asked around. Merrifield came highly recommended by a friend with 3 cats. They are so kind and gentle with our cat and they take their time and are very considerate and pleasant. Our cat, Bonnie has a forever home now AND a forever Vet in Merrifield Animal Hospital. Also offer Veterans Discount, which saved us a bit of money to spoil her a bit more! LOVE Merrifield.

We are delighted with Merrifield Animal Hospital. We take our elderly cat, Sally, there for routine check-ups. And very often we have had to see a vet on an emergency basis. They have ALWAYS been able to see Sally on a very short notice and we are very grateful for that. All the staff there is very courteous, friendly and efficient. On top of all this, they graciously donated money from a fund that they have towards the bill, without me even asking. Easy to schedule an appointment and always stay on time to see you at the time scheduled. Even though my dog hates it there, everyone is so nice, comes right down to the ground to pet her (instead of lifting her on to the table) and provides lots of treats to try to make her feel more comfortable.
