Approximately 8 years ago, after many years of seeing different GYN doctors for chronic pelvic pain, I found Dr. Montgomery N. Johns in Fredericksburg, VA. After trying several different treatment plans, we discussed a partial Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, which I decided to have done. The Laparoscopic Hysterectomy immediately solved my chronic pelvic pain. I went home the same day and was back to work the following week. About six months ago, I started experiencing chronic pelvic pain again and I was having problems with my bladder. I was able to get in quickly for an appointment. After discussing my options, I decided on another partial Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and the TVT sling. I had a lot of concerns regarding hormonal replacement therapy and the sling. He answered all of my questions. This surgery was a success, as well. The TVT sling took care of my bladder problems. After Dr. Johns performs the exam, you get dressed then he meets with you in his office to discuss his finding and options. You are cheerfully greeted upon entering the office. The staff is very professional. Dr. Johns has excellent bedside manners, listens to all concerns, and I have never felt rushed. Dr. Johns keeps up with the latest GYN practices. I highly recommend Dr. Montgomery N. Johns for his professionalism, knowledge and excellent staff!

The office is very dated, very 80s, but the level of care is top-notch. Dr Johns actually takes the time to talk to you in his office after the exam if you have any questions, and hes very good at alleviating any concerns you may have. I first saw him after a very dissatisfying experience with Elite Womens Health in Fredericksburg, and he is MILES above the quality of my previous gynecologist there. She always seemed like she was rushing from one patient to another, but I dont get that feeling with Dr Johns.

Absolutely love a Doctors office that charges a $50.00 no show fee because you missed a appointment due to the fact that the office misdiagnosed you leading to hospitalization for several days because of Kidney failure, sympathy, compassion and caring people... A definite thing of the past.

Dr. Johns is an amazing doctor. He truly does care about your well being and is honest with you ..theres no B.S. here. He and his staff make sure youre comfortable and cared for. I wish I could clone him so he could be my family and gastro doc too!!!
