I have been taking my two chihuahuas to Prince William Animal Hospital since they were babies. At first, I was very pleased for the first several months! The doctors were nice and very informative and the receptionist at the front desk were always the same two girls and really nice. Lately they have had a bit of change in staff and Im not pleased at all. My dog recently needed to have surgery to have an undecended testicle removed and also get neutered. For the $525 it cost me, im VERY disappointed. This is my first dog so I dont know anything about the care of a dog after surgery and all I was handed was a discharge paper to sign and thats it. Absolutely ridiculous. The new girl at the front desk was a snooty little snob and didnt appreciate her attitude. I wont be returning to Prince William Animal Hospital. The work of the surgery looks poor and they didnt even provide a Ecolar to keep my dog from licking the incision.

I am sad to report that this animal hospital has really changed in the last several years to the point I had to find new doctors for my pets. In my experience over the last several years, they are mostly interested in money and how many expensive tests they can get you to order verses the care and feelings of their patients and pet owners. If you do not want to order their over $750 blood work test, they make you feel like you are an awful person. After switching to another Manassas vet office, I also discovered that the prices are so much higher at Prince William Animal Hospital than most other places I checked in the area...over 30% higher. I sometimes wondered if the doctors were getting bonuses at the end of the month for the amount of tests and surgeries they recommended. Do yourself and your pet a favor and go somewhere else.

Do not go here if you are not rich. This place insanely expensive. I got a price from them for an operation to remove a tumor from my dog and it was going to cost over 1400 bucks, I went to another vet and the whole process cost 320 bucks. On top of that just to get an estimate on the operation they charged me 160 bucks. They do good work, but need to come down in their prices, its a rape!

Best Vet I have every been to. This office its doctors and staff are so caring and so considerate. You can feel a happy atmosphere from the moment you come in. They generally care for my pets and you can tell they care about my pets. I would recommend Prince William Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a go veterinarian.

Just had my cat looked at today. These people are animal whisperers. Totally had my cat at ease as they gave her a check up. Vet was honest about the shots and if they were necessary, she answered all of my questions. Staff was very friendly, I would recommend this place.
