I have been taking my 9 year old hound here for about 6 years now. I have always had a good experience, but I can honestly say my last experience is something that you wont get anywhere else. Long story short I took him in Friday morning and learned his stomach had twisted. I knew surgery was needed and was very nervous about that. Dr. Dawson was as caring and comforting as anyone could have been. You would have thought it was her dog that she was taking care of. She performed the surgery like no one else could have. She went above and beyond what her scope of work is. She updated us after that everything went well and that Brutus was in recovery but doing well. They allowed us to come see him a few hours later and Dr Dawson took her time not only to explain what they did but also answer the many questions we had about it. At this point her job was basically done. She saved our dog and saved our family the heartbreak that could have been. She however was not done. She called me that night to update me on how he was doing since he had to stay over for the night. She assured me he was doing good but was still in some pain. I went to bed knowing she cared for him as much as we did. The next morning I couldnt wait for her call so I called in as soon as they opened. She took the time to explain how he was then she gave me the best news I could hear. She said we could come take him home in the afternoon. When we went in they got him ready and yet again she took time out of her schedule to talk with us and explain how we needed to care for him once he was home. She still wasnt finished. She walked out with us and helped to make sure he could get in the car alright. She also told me she would follow up with me tomorrow which Im sure she will. All I can say is wow!! The way Dr Dawson and the entire staff cared for Brutus was above and beyond what their job description is. I hope I never find myself in this situation again but if I do, I know who Ill go see. My family and I will forever be in debt to Dr Dawson as she helped restore the joy that Brutus brings us everyday. I can not say enough good things about the entire facility. Also I wont give the price I paid but lets just say it was significantly less then what we had expected. Its nice to have someone who isnt only in business to make money, but rather make sure the quality of your pets life is as good as it can be at an affordable rate. Brutus is asleep as we speak but is doing great and getting better every minuet. Thanks so much to the entire staff!! It really means a lot to our family what you all did.

If you run into a situation where you have difficulty paying for your dieing pet, you will be faced with extreme insensitivity. I was told that if I didnt have $350 sitting around for emergency vet visits I should not own a cat. I know vets need to be paid but you need to be a little nicer to people when they are faced with these sorts of tragedies. Pets are like children to animal lovers, and I was essentially told that I was too poor to have my child back and she would be given to someone with enough money to afford her shortly. Im sure there are vets and especially vet techs at this practice who would have handled it better if they were in the position to. I believe they do take great care of the animals that come in there, but maybe not all the customers. I wrote this review as a status on my facebook and listed the name of the woman I spoke to through all of this and I received a letter from WVC that I was to watch what I say online and Im lucky my grandmother helped me pay for it. And I was never to return (as if I would want to). Lastly Id like to say they charge a bit more than other places in the area and I recommend Longmeadow Animal Hospital where we now take our cats. The difference in how the staff treats us is amazing.

WHEN I CAME TO THE CLINIC ON 7-7-16 WITH MY LITTLE DACHSHUND I THOUGHT HE WOULD BE GONE FROM ME FOREVER. I WAS FEELING LOST AND DR . M c CULLOUGH DID WHAT HE FELT WOULD HELP GETTY. NOT ONLY WAS THE VET PROFESSIONAL HE WAS COMPASSIONATE AND SHOWED ME GENTLE KINDNESS. THERE ARE A FEW GIRLS THAT WORK THERE AT THE CLINIC THAT ARE SUPER A1 AND THEY ARE THE ONES I BONDED WITH. DR. ATKINS IS SO SWEET AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. SHE KEPT ME INFORMED REGULARLY ON GETTYS PROGRESS AND APPEARED TO UNDERSTAND MY FEARS AND NEEDS FOR MY DOG. HE HAS IMPROVED ALMOST 60% SINCE THAT DAY I TOOK HIM TO THEM. HE IS RECIEVING LASER TREATMENTS FOR THE NEXT 2 WEEKS AND FOLLOW UP CARE ALONG WITH MY CARE AT HOME OF STRICT REST AND QUIET. HE MAY NEVER BE 100% AGAIN BUT HE WILL BE ALIVE, IN MY LIFE , AND IN MY ARMS TO LOVE , I FEEL FOR A LONG TIME BECAUSE OF THE CARE HE GOT AT WAYNESBORO VET CLINIC.

Ive taken my pets here since 2007!! Ive seen dr. Atkins over the years on several occasions with my dog and also my cats. Today I called and got an appointment for the same day just a few hours later. I was very pleased once again how they treated myself and most importantly my scared kitty and took the time to listen to my concerns. Being a vet tech of fifteen years I can ask a lot of questions and I had a decent amount of them today. The price was amazing too for everything they did and the medications my kitty required. She was very thorough as always and the staff was amazing and caring as ever!! I recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good and caring doctor and staff with fair pricing and love for all our furry family members. Thank you all so much again!!

If we lived closer, we would take our dog (Great Dane) there for regular visits. My husband and I took our Great Dane to Waynesboro Veterinary Clinic (WVC) based on a recommendation. We were at our wits end after having no luck finding a veterinarian (in our area) who could properly splint our Great Danes broken toe. Dr. Becker at WVC was amazing in her approach to our dog (and us) and to the treatment of the broken toe. We drove an hour to get to WVC (for about 6 weeks) in order to have Dr. Becker treat our dog and would do it all over again! WVC was a shining light in a very frustrating time in the treatment of our Dane. We highly recommend Dr. Becker and WVC.

First of all we want to Thank from the bottom of our hearts for the great staff at WVC.. they took the best care of our little guy Toby. The Vet was awesome and she deserves a metal, helping my husband and I get thru the difficult decission of having our best friend put to sleep.. Along with the great people that work there.... you all are the very best and with this I want to say Thank you to my friend Annette who also works there... your a God Sent... I am glad I have your friendship.... The Brucheys
