I made my sons appointment with this doctor because I thought it might be better than taking him to the Walmart eye doctor. Mistake number one. On the phone they told me that the appointment was going to cost $179. I thought this was high but again expected that it would be a good experience for my son. I filled out the paperwork before hand and in small print at the end of the paperwork it says that unless you request otherwise they will charge an additional $39 to take an image of your eye. When my husband arrived to the appointment with our son he explained that we did not want this additional service nor did we won our sons eyes to be dilated and ask if the price was still the same and they explained that it was. The ladies at the front desk or awful and have bad attitudes. When the appointment was over the doctor stood eating potato chips explaining nonchalantly that We could get our sunglasses or not it was up to us and sauntered away. We will not be returning to this I doctor ever again and recommend anyone thinking about going to them choose a different avenue. Our visit was on June 1, 2016.

Have been a patient of Dr. Robinson for over 30 years... Would never go anywhere else. Every visit, I do mean every visit is like the 1st! All office staff are wonderful to work with from billing to all services! Prices are great too! Dr. Robinson is an extra ordinary gift to all of us and her gifts and talents are truly a blessing. Her knowledge and bed side manner are truly rare, yet should be the common! I drive at least 45 minutes to see her and would drive 3hours if needed. She is loyal and faithful and stays current with the technologies that make her and Dr. Parkers practice one of the very BEST in Virginia. Im so grateful to have and continue to be their patient. Doctor Robinson is truly great and Dr. Parker is good. The rest of the office are Horrible. I got my yearly exam by Dr. Parker and decided to get my glasses elsewhere. Had an issue & was told to check with the doctor and make sure the numbers were correct. The office would not allow me to talk to him unless I paid again. This is after they found out that I got my glasses from another location. They became very rude. I found my old doctor and am very happy.. But now my daughter is being rudely treated which she does not care. The reason, for going to another place for filling prescription was that the years before, the office made me feel bad if I didnt order every recommended option & get the warranties.

If you think youre going to get in and out while only coughing up your co-pay, think again. Bring an extra pair of your contacts with you. Dont let them suck you in to fitting you with a new pair of contacts, because theyll charge a ludicrous $80 fitting fee. For that price, the contacts should be made of gold. Which they are not. Go get your prescription updated (because, lets be honest, all youre doing anyway is renewing your prescription so you can order your lenses via the Internet on the cheap), politely decline any additional "services," and keep your hard-earned money. Then find another optometrist who doesnt act like a salesperson.

Part of my eye exam, equipment malfunction and they never went back to complete it. Tried to fit me in contact lenses that I did not care for, but continued after I told them not interested, again. I was told the glasses would be ready in 3 days. 2weeks later, I still dont have the glasses. I was told the glasses would be ready on Wednesday, traveled to the office, nope, still not ready. I was told the glasses would be ready on Monday, the office is closed. They had no problem taking my money, but seem to have a problem following through. And all they said was sorry and offered me a $10 discount.

Great experience starts before your appointment. I set up an appointment and filled out all of my paperwork online and was contacted to confirm the next day. Once there, everyone on staff was professional, friendly, and good at their job. They have all the technological bells and whistles, so you can be comfortable that your eyes are being properly examined. In fact, Dr. Parker set me up with a new approach to contacts to improve my eye (and budget) health. Also, I cant remember the last time I enjoyed picking out a new pair of glasses frames. Well be back for sure.

Location is convenient with ample parking. The office is clean and exceptionally charming for every holiday. The reception staff is friendly and helpful with insurance. Online registration is a plus - easy and quick - so all paperwork is done when you arrive. Dr. Robinson is patient and informative. She has all the equipment to do a thorough and complete eye exam. I love her chair-side manner. Dr. Parker and the staff are always available to adjust eyewear and help in selecting new frames and lenses. It is a most pleasurable experience.

Drs Robinson and Parker continue to provide consistently high quality, customer-focused and friendly optometry services. Appointments are easy online or on the phone. People are seen in a timely manner and staff are attentive to making sure patients are seen promptly. Unlike many physicians offices, these two fine doctors, do not overbook their office. I wish several of the other physicians we see would take lessons in patient management and office procedures from these two. Outstanding optometry services for anyone of any age.

This was one of my worst experiences with a Doctor. I found out nothing, insurance was not billed correctly, spent the whole morning waiting for the doctor I was supposed to see just to find out I had to see a different doctor. Appointment revealed nothing that I didnt already know with no solutionbornolab of treatment. Went to another optometrist the next week and had the problem taken care of eith an effective treatmenr plan, appropriate insurance billing within the next couple weeks. I regret the visit to Robinson and Parker!

Come SEE! I have known Dr. Robinson for 25+ years. She is a very caring, professional, community-minded person. Patients are more than just "another appointment". I used to see her at an old location and never considered switching doctors when she moved to the current, state-of-the-art office farther away from me. When my children needed their first “real” eye exams, there was no question that I’d go the extra mile. My daughter saw Dr. Parker this week. He was very friendly and explained things in an age appropriate way.

Appreciated the reminder via e-mail that it was time for a check-up. The process of making an appointment is smooth and timely. Checking in was quick; the exam was done promptly. The best thing about the event was the time Dr. Parker took to answer multiple questions about future cataract surgery. On the return visit after highly easy and successful territory the same excellent service was provided. The reception desk personnel are friendly and efficient. Dr. Parker was prompt and thorough.

My favorite place to get an eye exam. They are quick, efficient, and they are very polite. They helped me book an appointment within a week due to travel plans. The only thing to note is that Glasses are cheaper at Costco then at there in office "store." Thats even with a $200 off the frame from insurance. I paid $165 for anything else to do with the the lens which is not terrible. Just unfortunate due to the fact that if I had received contacts, there would have been no out of pocket expense.
