Received my first pair of contacts back in Feb 2017. I decided to buy a year supply of boxed contacts ONLY because one of the secretaries specifically stated I can return them ANY time as long as they are unopened. I remember her stating this since I asked her for reassurance so I am not spending $100 on contacts that are uncomfortable, due to this being my first contact purchase. To make a long story shortened, I was unable to return the contacts and could not exchange for any free trials or a diff type. The communication between the doctor-patient-employees is horrible. Poor customer service. I have my BSN and am an RN, and this is not how doc-pt communication should be. I walked out of there with 3 boxes or $50 worth of crappy contacts that felt like cardboard in my eyes, while not even talking with the owner/doc (he wanted $50 to talk to me, and the one lady said she would bump it down two dollars, so 48$ lol ok), and not receiving trial contacts which is what I wanted. Its very frustrating, the docs are laissez faire when he knows HIS patient is unhappy with the purchase/service from him, and they send the secretaries out to be the messenger and they dont do anything. Will be going to a different eye doc so I can see which contacts are most comfy for me. ..update: Turns out they sold me contacts that the manufacturer discontinued the first of the year so they can get off their hands lol. "Vertex Sphere"...

total b.s! kept telling me i was going to have to pay all this extra stuff that has never come up at any other eye dr. i have ever been to. then they billed my medical insurance for something that should have been billed to my vision insurance. i dont know what was more valuable, the time i wasted trying to clear up all their billing b.s., or the money i had to spend b/c of it. certainly not the service they provided. they refused to fix the problem after the fact. the eye dr. saw me for about 5 total minutes and they billed out every imaginable charge. f these guys, im never going back ever again and i would advise everyone i love, and complete strangers to never come here. i wish i never had.

Ive bought glasses here over the past few years and ive found a few things. i think that the salespeople do a good job of finding what fits best for you without trying to sell you things that you dont need, They talked me out of a few "extras" on my glasses in the past that would have just made it more expensive for me in the end. I can definitely say that I have benefited from their honesty. They seem to always have a wide range of glasses here.They have everything from designer few hundred dollar glasses to glasses that compete with some of the specials you see on tv. I really like the attention and service that I have gotten from this place compared to some of the other bigger places around.

Made an appointment to get my 3 year old son eye checked because he got dirt or something in there. I go in and they tell me its 150 bucks up front. I tell them my insurance said they submit to them then I pay the balance. They tell me theyll check on it. 15 minutes later they tell me to go to the ER. Im not going to the ERIC for a little dirt in the eye. The reason he wouldnt see me is became of the up front payment. I ask to talk to the doctor and he is conveniently in a meeting. Why schedule the appointment if youre going to tell me to go to the ER when I get there. By the way its his son running the place now not Sr.

Dr visit was super fast and easy. Really nice people.i would have given them 5 stars but the girl who helped me pick out my frames refused to tell me my pupil distance on my copy of my perscription,she even lied to me and told me pupil distance changes per the frame you pick.which is totally bs.your pupils will always be the same distance apart unless youre a growing child or you have a wandering eye.haha.my frames where also marked 159 but when I got my bill that were 199. But the rest of my visit was awesome.

Jr. Dont even deserve one star. Dude had me in the wri g rx for a yr. Was wondering why i couldnt see and was having bad headaches. Went to see a two different drs and both said my rx was wrong. Smh. Ill never go back. Not only that but he charged me double for my exam and glasses. Walmart is better.

I saw Dr. Helfrich Jr. He helped me out withmy dry eye and it is soooo much better! The girls in the front helped me pick out a cute new pair of glasses. This pair fits really well and I can see out of them a lot better than the ones I bought online!

Have been going here for years for my glasses and they are the best! The staff and doctors are all extremely friendly and are genuinely concerned when something is wrong. Would recommend them to everyone!
