My family has gone here for years, and we have always recieved the best care for our animals. I took my very sick cat here for the first time with high expectations, confident they would exceed them. First off, it was very busy in the office due to their walk-in hours that day, so I didnt mind waiting to be seen, I was just happy that my cat was going to get some help! So when we were finally seen, the vets assistant took my cats temperature and it was very high...and I knew it would be. So she asked some questions and left to get the doctor. Next, Dr. Greenwalt comes in. She takes my cats temperature again and it had dropped 2 degrees, and she commented on how she had no idea how the assistant got that high number before...(idk maybe its irregular because somethings wrong with her? Just a thought) Anyway she asked a couple of routine questions and began to talk about anything and everything that had nothing to do with why we were actually there, which was MY SICK CAT. She said my cats lethargy may be caused by something that scared her outside (????) and that her eyes were only runny because of the bright lights. Then began to talk about other random stuff that had nothing to do with my cat.. Or anything to do with veterinary medicine at all.... She didnt run any tests on my cat and said she was fine. So I left, even more worried as I was when I got there. So 24 hours pass, and she is even worse. I ended up taking her to an emergency vet in carytown (VESC) and we found out she was severely dehydrated and had a pretty serious blood infection that she had gotten from a flea. WHAT THE HELL. $600 later, my cat is just fine now after getting PROPERLY diagnosed and treated. Im VERY dissapponted in dr. Greenwalt, as she really showed no care or interest in the well-being of my pet! If I hadnt taken her to the emergency vet, the chances are shed be dead. Im upset because if I had seen any other doctor at dr Taylors office, I know they wouldve done a great job.

I took my cat there when she had a cold in January. The pet store I got her from had taken her there when shed been abandoned, so I figured I would stick with the place that had her records. We had to wait almost an hour, but it was flu season and they were short-staffed, so it was understandable. The exam room however, was filthy. My cat climbed into my lab at one point, and when she moved there was feces smeared across my sweater that she had stepped in. All the exam rooms also have a door that lead out to the parking lot, and the latch on the door in our room was broken. While this was not a problem for me, my cats not strong enough to push the door open, Id very concerned if Id brought a larger dog into that room. I decided to try another vet this morning due to the issues we encountered. I forgot to bring my cats records (my fault), but my new vet said not worry, they could contact Taylor Locke and have them faxed over. But when they called them, Taylor Locke said they had no records of my cat or myself ever being there. Nor did they have any record of the pet store visiting them in December when she was abandoned. Due to their apparent clerical error my cat had to receive her rabies vaccination and distemperment shot again. Not only would I not recommend their practice due the how unsanitary is is, but theres a chance that your records will get lost.

We had to make an exceptionally tough decision to have our older dog put down. I called Dr. Taylors office because I knew people had been happy with the care they received there. My husband and I were floored by the exceptional care we received. When I called the first thing the person I spoke with was to tell me how sorry she was that we had to make that decision. She went through the process with me and we went to the office that afternoon even though we had never been to their practice. When we walked in I signed in and was told we could wait wherever we and he were comfortable. We were able to wait outside with him and not make him go inside an unfamiliar place. They have outdoor opening rooms so we were able to go straight in from the exterior. Dr. Dolan came in and we gave him the list of issues that was just getting longer and not better. He was very understanding and compassionate. He walked us through the process and gave us as much time and space as we needed. We were told that when we were done we didnt need to go back up front, we could just leave and they would bill us (keep in mind, we had never stepped foot in their office before). I have been around animals my entire life and these were some of the most compassionate and caring people I have come across. We cannot thank them enough for the care they showed to us and Hugo. Thank you.

Absolutely, hands down the best vet in the area. I couldnt have asked for more caring attention and help with an emergency situation with my dog. Dr. Taylor is amazing, patient, and kind. I dont know how I wouldve gotten through any of this ordeal without him. The prices are more than great and they actually truly care about your pets well being and are not just trying to sell you something or tell you what you want to hear to get more money out of you. If I could give this place a million stars I would. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!! Thank you so much! Update: Again I cant say enough about Dr. Taylor and tech Anna! I have been through so much over the past months with my dog Jefe and they have been there through it all. Anna has given me countless hugs and the courage to be strong for him so he can live a long and healthy life. Jefe had his front leg amputated last week, which was the eventual conclusion considering his injury, but he has thrived the entire time and continues to do so. I have a 3 legged dog now and this vet office has made sure to do everything in their power to make sure that hes happy and healthy. From the front desk asking me about him EVERY time I come in to the techs giving him love in the hallway and of course the hugs and encouragement from Anna. Thank you everyone! I really dont know how Jefe and I couldve gotten through this without yall.

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Lockes office for about 10 years, they have always been a reasonably priced, no frills place, but since my last experience going the price has creped up and the no frills is turning into providing my pet with a lazy, sloppy job. First off, the several older ladys that work as receptionists need lessons on customer service. When I stand at the counter they will continue to talk about something random, waiting about a minute to figure out why Im standing there. My dog had a mouth ulcer and needed her teeth cleaned, so I dropped her off in the morning, with the antibiotic she had been prescribed. I brought it because the lazy staff that work as receptionist didnt bother telling me to keep her NPO, so I did anyway in case. They never gave her the antibiotic, so she went all day without it in her system. Also, when I picked her up her face looked wet, and the lady that handed her to me said not to wash her face today. Well, when I got home I discovered it wasnt wet, it was some oily stuff all over her face, above her eyes, and on her paws. When I asked they had no idea what it could be, and tried to say it was saliva. My dog is a Bichon, and they are hard to clean because of the type of hair they have, so I was a little disgusted to say the least.
