terrible, I was just depressed and had anxiety when I went there and in there i started to self harm. They will tell you to make friends and confide in the other patients. but dont because as soon as you get attached they will split you up, as soon as you confide in someone and tell them everything they split you up and you are not aloud to look at, see, or talk to them. also if you listen at night you can hear the nurses talking about all the patients and how"messed up" they all are. the day shift nurses are terrible too *except for Kendall, Olivia, and Priya you guys are the best* there was a specific male nurse named Jonathan who treated everyone terribly. when you see someone going through something and they are clearly distraught you do not tell them that they deserve to be there and that they should be moved to a residential unit. also when it is a few minutes after calling hours you dont scream at a child for asking to call there parent, and you dont tell them theyre not special and you dont tell them that they are here for a reason... also Michelle just talks about all the patients and gives them dirty looks, if it couldnt have made me stay there longer she could catch these hands. also if you are gay and sexually active you cant have a roommate. first off I have a girlfriend who im loyal to and i can keep my hands to myself so if youre gay and sexually active you wont get a roommate if you tell them. so overall this place sucks if your loved one is suicidal the second they get out of there they will either kill themselves or relapse,,, but there are good people there Carl is cool and the only doctor who helped me at all. and Kendall Olivia and Priya are cool to. and oh yea the food sucks, so dont eat it. just wait for snack time.

If you care about your loved ones do not let them go to a psychiatric center. Doing prescription pills of any type is not a good idea and only in very few cases should be used in a last attempt to help a person. But in America the prescription pill problem is nothing but a legalized profiteering criminal organization. 100,000 people a year die from pharmaceutical meds more than anything in this country. 70% of people are hooked on pharmaceutical meds and its growing each year. When people did not get their pharmaceutical meds they have a tendency to get extremely upset, violent and even suicidal . The news media and doctors will not talk about that. Psychiatrists are nothing but legalized dope dealers that make a profit off of the patient. from trips to vacations kickbacks etc. The pain panic anxiety depression and nerve medicines after a while take the care out of a person just like drinking alcohol. Jesus can fix any problem not drugs. Whatever happened to counseling just counseling no pills? Get into church now before its too late God is coming.

THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE IVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!I CALLED TO CHECK ON A RELATIVE AND WAS TOLD I NEED A PIN # TO FIND OUT IF HE WAS OK EVEN THOUGH I HAD GOTTEN THRU TO A SO CALLED PATIENT PHONE AND SPOKE WITH HIM TWICE BEFORE WITHOUT THIS SO CALLED PIN#,WHEN I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THIS TO THIS PERSON SHE SPOKE OVER ME AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE,THIS WAS AFTER TRYING TO CALL THE WHOLE DAY AND WAS SENT TO EVERY DEPT.EXCEPT WHAT I NEEDED.THE PEOPLE IN THIS PLACE DONT KNOW IF THERE COMING OR GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THERE SHOULD BE A PLACE FOR NEGATIVE STARS FOR THESE GUYS.08/21/2017

Honestly. Its one of the best hospitals I have been to. Most of these reviews are adults that are kissed because they are hooked on meds and cant fix problems themselves. Others are because patients dont get what they want. But seriously, the staff is so caring and the food may not be the best but they have other options and you are always fed and it takes two to make a system work. So before saying the system is failing, look at yourself. If any staff happens to read this, thank you guys for helping me. -Danielle -

Horrible. The place is a complete joke and totally not real. I even looked up my doctor hes not even a substance abuse doctor his specialty is adolescents. Also the people are chill a little too chill. I felt like I knew more than the nurses. Some of us are smarter than we appear. Felt like I was dealing with a whole bunch of actors. CLUELESS

This place was HORRIBLE. The staff has no care for the patients and will give them any prescription medication without caring about the risk it will have on the individual. If you care about your loved ones,, DO NOT GO HERE!

sucked. doc couldnt speak for more then about 30 seconds. asked him something he said he already said it i said no you didnt and he replied "maybe you didnt hear because i mumbled it" (wiseman).

Took over 3 hours for them to place the red "codeine allergy" bracelet on my wrist. This was after I asked 3 different people to put it on.
