I used to love the Bon Secours hospitals. I mean, I LOVED them. I loved them so much I became a volunteer and served them on the weekends for several years. I wanted help this hospital that I loved to be an even better place. But, then it happened. I needed to have a procedure. The care I received was exceptional! The physicians, nurses, everyone was fantastic. Everything except the Business Office. My insurance covered most of it and left me with a meager sum of just $7,000.00 to pay. We get monthly statements from our mortgage companies, credit cards companies, water company, power company, gas company, charities that we donate to, etc... I have never missed a single payment to any of them and as a result I have a FICO score that would let me purchase the Taj Mahal if I wanted. Failing to have $7k in cash just burning a hole in my pocket I *cheerfully* went to finance this debt with Bon Secours - Hey, they fixed me and I felt great! I set up the payment plan and began to make my payments. Things were great until after a few months I realized that when I sat down to pay my bills like I do every 5th of the month that I didnt have any sort of statement from Bon Secours. Im a pretty intelligent person but I thought that they would send me a monthly statement LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE does, but no. Having not received any statements I decided to call them. Turns out they had sent me to a collections agency. I pleaded with the woman on the phone to please just let me pay Bon Secours but no luck. Collections it was for me, Matey! Yar! First, a recommendation to Bon Secours - SEND OUT MONTHLY STATEMENTS! Second, You only think I guessed wrong! Thats whats so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...

This hospital was the worst ever!! They were abusive to patients. The nurses were nasty. They would force medication that I never needed down my throat and tell me if I didnt take it I would never get out. I wasnt there for a mental illness. I had a mishap with the law in 2012 and was given the option of a TDO or jail. Of course I chose the hospital. Big mistake. I cant even tell you how many times they would subdue people by violently slamming them with needles. In a disgusting room with bodily fluids all over the mats etc... The people that did this would laugh the entire time. It was sickening!!! This hospital should fire everyone and restaff it. God forbid if someone truly needs help and are treated so poorly.

They were very helpful the first time I was in the emergency room for the second visit they were not so helpful being they were very effective in the sense of urgency as to what care you were going to receive if any, in addition to the care you will receive is awesome if you have health coverage as to not being covered they are not so committed to what you need I was in the emergency room and of all the other people who were there had a little child who was in there for a much needed care they were very sick it was heart breaking to not have a chance to let the child go ahead of me that was the 1 thing that I was not happy about.

I brought my mother to the Emergency Department at Richmond Community Hospital and I was so grateful for the excellent and timely care we received! I was very concerned for my mother having already waited for a long period of time at another ED. I made the decision to bring her to RCH hoping she could be seen in a more timely manner and we made the right choice. We were called back quickly and a Physician was in the room talking with us within 20 minutes of arrival. Im thankful for the efficiency of the staff and kindness they showed us. I highly recommend this Hospital.

As a healthcare provider that strives to always provide patient centered care I was shocked to see the complete lack of knowledge and any remote desire to help the patient. I hate to write a poor review of another healthcare provider and/or facility, but this facility is atrocious. The number of failures, near-misses, and miss-communications occurring within just two patient encounters was downright terrifying and I hope that the management of this facility attempts to improve their systems and rearrange employees to meet the needs of the patient.

Took my daughter 4 times, wrong diagnoses, wrong prescriptions. Finally took xray on fourth visit,.. PNEUMONIA THE WHOLE TIME!! We were transported to Saint Marys, where i should have gone in the first place. This is no Hospital, its a clinic. Need to be called Community Cinic.. No Hospitals that I have ever been to Misdiagnoses 4 times..

This is an animal hospital, better yet dont take your animals there. They make you wait for 2 hours, then the treatment is awful. I have insurance and they still put it on my credit. report. I am about to sue these animals. Do not go there, they have a system in place to harm your life if you are in need of medical treatment.

They were very kind and efficient, in a recent emergency room visit. Our nurse said shes been working here for 4 years, and likes it. Our doctor was also great.

The sheriff dept officer treated me like a criminal when I I came to visit my wife , they were rude and didnt treat my wife with care, this place is awful.

Extremely slow,I have had to take 2 different people to this place its dirty,and very slow it took two hours to ebb get back to the back room
