Highly recommend!! Being newer to the area, I had to find an optometrist that could suit my needs. Coastal Vision was recommended by a coworker, and I cant say enough about the place! There are multiple locations across the area, and the times vary so they really are quite flexible, which I love. The establishment itself is very clean and modern, with a great selection of eyewear. The staff was extremely friendly and relevant, and helped make my visit that much better. Dr. Nilsson was the optometrist I saw, and though I have been getting my eyes checked for years, he still made sure to walk me through each step and explain everything clearly. I opted to have the dilation-free retinal exam (via photos), and Dr. Nilsson walked through the photos with me, showing me what he was looking for and even providing an alternative photo for comparison. he also offered me his card, with the sincerest remark to call him out of hours should an eye-emergencies arise. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Dr. Nilsson and his staff are very charismatic and amiable and I am happy to have found such a great optometry to call "home".

I have been with Coastal Vision since I was little...Dr. Breedlove being the only eye doc I could remember. After having to rescheduling my yearly eye exam, I had an appointment w/ Dr. Nilsson....and I havent been more please w/my experiences!! Dr. Nilsson has taken the time to thoroughly answer any and all questions, my professional recommendations, and what really captured my attention...follow up, even after office hours! After a vision experience away from home, I called the office and explained my symptoms, Dr. Nilsson walked me through everything over the phone and then called me back later that evening to check on me (oncoming migraine/visual migraine)...I will never forget that and will always be thankful for his compassion!! Thank you!

I had to take my daughter there for new frames. We were told she needed a new exam and she was scheduled immediately. The Optometrist was great with my daughter. When I took her to get fitted for frames, Shawn helped us out. He was amazing and it was only his second day on the job! He helped us find the best frames to fit my daughters need. He didnt push us into something we did not want. He took the time to recommend and explain the benefits and details on the lenses. I appreciate the cleanliness, professionalism, and overall quality of this eye care center. Thank you to all the staff who have helped us. I highly recommend this place to everyone with eye care needs.

My family has been going to Coastal Vision for over 6 years to take care of our eyes. Dr. Nilsson is amazing! Hes gone above and beyond what we think an optometrist should be. We once stopped by the office to get my sons glasses adjusted not realizing they were closed, and Dr Nilsson so happened to be there and adjusted them himself! Hes also been there from the beginning treating my sons lazy eye, answering ALL my questions! Coastal Vision makes you feel like you are part of their family the way they take care of you from your appointment to helping you pick your glasses! Couldnt be happier!

The staff is kind and professional. We had Shawn and thought he went The extra mile in helping and assisting us in picking out a pair of frames. He is kind, courteous and professional. He even made us laugh abit. He made us feel well domed. Plus what I like x there was no pressure. Shawn let us take our time until we were completely satisfied. And a biggie for my wife and I was they gave us a military discount of 25% off. First time at this location and they made a great first impression on us. Definately would go back and recommend!!!

Just came back from my sons first eye appointment ever, with Dr. Scott Nillson. Dr. Nillson was very thorough/detailed in his explanation of what my child has been experiencing and why. He is very personable and because of this my child was very comfortable and at ease. The staff was very polite and all smiles. Looking forward to future visits with Coastal Vision and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking an office with wonderful customer service and outstanding Optometrists such as Dr. Scott. Nillson.

I have been going to Dr. Nilsson for years. I am always welcomed with smiling faces and seen shortly after I enter the office. The staff are friendly and informative. Dr. Nilsson always takes the time to answer all of my questions no matter how big or small. There have been a few times that I was having trouble with my vision and I was able to get in to see the doctor at a moments notice. They have taken excellent care of me and I look forward to using their services for years to come!

Dr. Nilsson and his team are top-notch. I recommend this office to anyone looking to establish a relationship with an optometrist - the scheduling is easy, hours are convenient, and the staff seems to really enjoy what they do. Dr. Nilsson is at the top of my list of favorite doctors (which is saying a lot, because I love my pediatrician and dentist as well) and my family will continue to see him for our eye care no matter where his office is located.

Dr. Nilsson is outstanding!!!! In 40 years NEVER have I had such a dedicated optometrists. He takes his time to explain things clearly. I thought I was going blind when I first went to him 3 years ago. Dr. Nilsson found that the eyesglass I had been prescribed before were ALL WRONG for me. He and his team are very caring. Ive been their patient for 3 years and I have no desire to go anywhere else!!!!!!!!

Awesome Dr and staff...they have taken care of myself and my family for the past 5 years, very professional and detailed. They work with Tricare Prime and they offer a 25% off military discount for everything that insurance doesnt cover. I wont go anywhere else, I was referred to them by the hospital when I had an eye injury and they saved my eye

Dr. Lin is the absolute best! I went in for my annual eye exam and Dr. Lin discovered a serious health issue that was confirmed by a Neurologist. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. She saved my vision and potentially my life. I cant stop telling everyone about my experience with Dr. Lin and her customer focused staff.
