DO NOT ever go here!! If I could rate them zero stars I would. 1 star is too generous! I took my 16mo old daughter here after she had been burning up with a fever all night. She had a history of ear infections as an infant & had to have tubes placed in her ears at 12mo. So we needed to make sure it wasnt caused by another ear infection. The "Dr." that saw us was rude & seemed to be in a hurry. He said she had sinusitis & an ear infection in her right ear. He wrote a script for Augmentin. Went to get the script filled at a pharmacy & they didnt have the correct brand medication. Took the script across the street to Martins & the pharmacist asked me how much she weighed as I had my daughter with me. 19lbs I answered. She stated that the script was wrote for 19kg which is over double my childs weight. I couldnt believe what a careless mistake they had made, which thankfully the pharmacist caught. They called & had it corrected & filled her script for me. I gave her half the daily dosage when we got home. Normally shes very good about taking meds but this one she did not care for. It upset her stomach almost immediately. All this while she was receiving ibuprofen for her fever, which carried over into the next morning. The next day we noticed a horrible rash all over her. Thinking maybe she had an allergic reaction to the meds I stopped the antibiotics & took her the follow day to Valley Health Urgent Care, which is where we should have gone the first time. We were there maybe 5 minutes before being called back. I told the Dr about out MedExpress experience & how they tested for strep & said she had sinusitis & an ear infection, etc. He explained to me that children that age dont have developed sinuses yet so she couldnt have an infection. He took a look in both her ears & did not see any signs of an ear infection either. He called a second Dr in the room & without saying what he saw asked her to look in my daughters ears as well & she saw nothing. They took a look at her rash & intead determined that she had gotten hand, foot, & mouth virus. Which would clear up on its own in several days & was causing the fever.. Sure enough, a few days later she was back to normal without any meds besides ibuprofen! Needless to say the experience we had here was beyond horrible all the way around. I personally could be dying in their parking lot & would call 911 before stepping foot in here again!

**EDIT** Thanks to the power of social media, someone from corporate did finally call me and agree to refund the monies taken from my account. It doesnt help with the overdraft fees that have now accumulated, but at least someone caring did finally take the time to hear me out, understand the situation they put me in and attempt to do something about it. I want to be clear that the reason I am giving a low rating is due to the billing practices and lack of information. I have found the clinical staff to be very caring and very good. However, I went to Med Express with a gashed finger that required stitches. The young man who checked me in asked for a credit card to put on file. He explained that I would be notified before any monies were taken from the account. He also said that if I could not make the payment when notified I could cancel it. I never received any type of notification before $xx was taken from my account on a Saturday. Today, Monday, I have spoken with the local office, and two different people at their outside billing office. No one is willing to take responsibility or do anything about it. So now I will have an overdraft fee due to their inability to follow their own rules. Also, as much as the front desk staff tries to tell you this is a mandatory thing, which is easy to believe when you are bleeding profusely, but its not. Do not give them any type of card to have on file, its a convenience pay OPTION. Cover your butt if you decide to go. AS for me, I wont be back. The emergency room is cheaper in the long run.

Worst experience there yet, and Ive been few times. This last time for my kids and they were rude at triage, the girl with tattoos on her arm, acted like we were peons, (my 10yr old son and 8 year old girl) she didnt even let me finish speaking to tell her everything wrong with my kids, the second nurse lady that came in was the only smile I saw in that building except for brown woman at front desk, the"Dr".. a PA, was bland and acted like he didnt give a damn about my kids, was short and VERY VERY VERY disrespectful when I joked about having one of the tools to clean the kids` ears with and he responded rudely, NO, then only tells me that hes is giving my daughter a prescription, didnt say for what or anything, THEN the worst part, he grabs a handful of ALL the ear cleaning tools out of the drawer while looking at me, as if I was going to steal them, before he exits I tell him that I was not going to take them. Let me tell you something, I dont need to steal those tools, I have Bobby pins if I wanted to put things in my kids ears. That really made me feel like I was a criminal and made me look like a fool in front of my kids. They asked why he took them out of the examining room, well I should have made the PA answer them. I will not be returning to this rude judgmental establishment. Sincerely, a mother who now feels less than what I am. Rude and disrespectful. The Asian Dr is the only one with sense and respect.

We called ahead of time to ask if our son could be evaluated, we were told yes. So we loaded our 18 month old into the car and took him to the location. First we were told by reception that there was a problem with his insurance and that we could just pay cash, while on hold with insurance company reception was pushing to get payment. After insurance issues were resolved we went to nursing station for weight, height, and questions for purpose of visit. Shuttled off to waiting room for Dr., Dr comes in and says go to ER, did not even look at him. And why were we told to come to the Urgent Care again? Staff member at ER apologized to me for their approach and said it was not something new, I was not being singled out. He said it was close to closing time there first of all so they probably wanted me out quickly, and secondly why not collect some money instead of just telling me over the phone they are closing go to the ER or any infant head related injuries should go directly to ER. I was told also that if I was referred by Hospital affiliated urgent care I would have been given a FULL REFUND. Go to Hospital affiliated urgent care! Staff was friendly so they get One star and only one due to highly unethical services.
