Old Bridge was highly recommended to us by our friends who live in Maryland and even say it is worth the drive from there! Weve found this to be true in our case too, and keep coming back for over two years since she was a tiny puppy. We tried and cannot find a better place for our dog, so we still drive an hour ourselves though it is not quite as far as our friends in Maryland! We first brought her to Old Bridge for a proper worming which was way more effective than when we tried to do it ourselves. We have boarded here there many times. We had her spayed there, and have all her shots and even nail trimming done there. The staff all love and care for her as if she was their own, and the vet always takes time to explain things and makes sure all our questions are answered. They genuinely love animals and take care of many different kinds of pets, even ferrets - it is interesting to read stories on the wall from owners of pets theyve saved. The prices are reasonable too. The best thing is seeing her tail wag like crazy with her dragging us through the front door. They know her by name every time whether we have an appointment or just walk-in for something minor.

On a Saturday, the dog was not himself and looked to be sick, we thought it was something he ate. On the following Monday morning he had not gotten any better so we took him to the vet.The Dr did not do a complete examination on my Yourkie. During the week, they did Xrays and a Sonogram where she concluded that he had an inflamed stomach and throat. After the second visit ( Wednesday), we were giving him a bath on Thursday night when we noticed a sharp lump on his neck below his mouth. We took him back in on Friday morning and when the Dr was looking at the lump, it has pierced the skin where she could pull it out with her fingers.It was a 1" long x 3/8" pirce of tree branch. The dog had gone a week suffering, not eating or drinking She suggested that we take him to an emergency room where they found a 3"piece of tree branch ( 3/8" in diameter ) loged in the back of his mouth We have found another Vet to take care of our pets.

Ive been using OBVH for many years. They were recommended by a neighbor. Their prices are very affordable. Had used another local vet prior and their rates were exorbitant! Ive heard some folks complain about the odor and dated look of the place. I dont see it as a problem. Routinely see the staff cleaning the common area. I dont want to see service prices rise just to keep up with other newer local vet buildings. OBVH vet and staff have always been very kind and professional when caring for my pets. Had a minpin for 16 1/2 yrs and they were more then empathetic when it came to putting him to sleep. Now i have two new dogs and plan to continue using OBVH. Actually I am picking up my Stella who was spayed yesterday. Would recommend you give the place a try before you go elsewhere and spend $$$$ for the same service.

So far my experience with them has been great. My brother made our first appointment at the wrong place and when I showed up they were willing to find time to fit me in. Also compared to the other 2 vets Ive used for my pup Old Bridge has the best prices by far. Like any place Ive been they will suggest other shots and tests you could take as a precaution, but they were clear that these were optional and the reasons that they suggested them. I went ahead and chose to take some of the precautionary shots because my dog does go into the woods by the house. Even with these additional shots I paid less than I would have for just the basics at my other vet.

I love this place. I brought my cat here because he had urinary blockage. Dr. Mount provided exceptional care for 3 days. She called at least once a day to provide me with an update on his status and was available to take my calls. I would not rate medical care on price alone, but I cannot finish this review without commenting on their affordable prices. After visiting another vet in Alexandria I was concerned that if I ever had to do this again we would not be able to afford it and have to consider putting our beloved Pap down. I am so grateful to Old Bridge Animal Hospital for providing quality care at a reasonable price.

Not happy at all with the service. My dog was injured while she was being boarded at their kennel. I was told that my dog was injured because she lunged at another dog that was passing by her cage and got her paw caught. I had to except their explanation because I was out of town. I had to pay for the fee for the kennel and the surgery they say that was needed. I know things can happen, maybe I should have inspected their boarding area before and afterwards.

I love Dr. Kawasaki. I have ferrets and he absolutely loves ferrets, which lets me know he is passionate about his work. I have compared with other practices and he has simply the best prices. It really seems to me he is not in this line of work for the money, its for the love of animals and to help out the consumer because we may not have the money for expensive procedures. I would recommend him to ANYONE, and I have before. Love, love, love this doctor

I started off taking dogs I fostered here when I worked with a rescue and was very impressed by the staff and vets. While the office is a bit retro with its appearnace the staff and vets are friendly and true animal lovers. I have since started taking my own pets there over the last 2 years. Their price is GREAT, service is GREAT and they always find away to squeeze me in last minute. I drive from Manassas every time because of the service and the price.

All the reviews are right on! Definitely best prices around, kind staff, informative doctor. ONLY place who has ever given me a soft e- collar 4 my kitten. You can flip it down againt their body & they can still move around. So much less traumatic for them. Every vet/ pet store should have them. The office is Retro ..and there isnt a website.....but the kind treatment & excellent prices far exceed that. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What an amazing experience, unbelievably professional staff, caring and gentle. The doctors came through for me in a high stress situation explaining the process step by step putting my mind at ease. They took great care of our dog and i am beyond happy with the end results. All in all i highly recommend Old Bridge to anyone that needs a vet that is a step above and beyond the rest.

I had a very positive experience with my first visit. 2 weeks boarding, grooming and annual vet visit. Everything went well and very competitive pricing on services rendered compared to our previous Vet. I liked the fact that I was not harassed or chastised for my 9 year old lab having old hips and me not doing something expensive about it. Nice people and my dog was happy.
