My Akida had two surgeries with these folks and everything was good. However, my dog started pacing and got lost in corners and was losing weight. I took him back and was told he either had a stroke, cancer (he was a boxer) or cognitive canine disorder. The female doctor simply did not know what was wrong with Akda. After a UA and blood test, an assistant came in and said we were finished; and that his labs looked pretty good. I took Akida again (saw a different female doctor) and was told "he was like a very very old man and will just stop eating and lay down and die." I had him on a prescription pet food, pain meds, anti nausea and liver meds. I spent every moment with him and friends watching him, while I worked. I took Akida again (male dr.) and had him put down and the dr. told me "he probably has a large mass." It was the saddest day of my life. Akida is out of pain now but after researching his symptoms, it appears he had a brain tumor. The women dr.s appeared to be burned out, but the male dr. was concerned, very comforting and gentle with my Akida. The staff was nice, but some of them acted as though I may have been taking up too much of their time. So, all in all, I would take a future pet to this hospital but only allow the male dr. to work with him/her.

Make sure you have one of the DVMs clean your animals ears. Brought my cat in for some cold type symptoms and opted to have the ears cleaned since it had been a while. After hearing my cat wail and taking my cat home, within a few days a third eyelid began to appear, during follow up, I mentioned it to the doctor, as well as the fact that my cat doesnt seem to be responding to my voice, and is sleeping very heavy, regardless they treated for an eye infection, by the next follow up, I expressed my cat cannot hear at all and mentioned the ear cleaning. Dismissed by the vet, as not likely and a quick look. Needless to say I went to the web to "google" this scenario, sure enough, others had a similar scenario with their vet after their cats ears were cleaned. The third eyelid showing is also commonly associated with Horners Syndrome. Hence, the one star review. If I bring my pet in and it can hear and when I get it back it cannot, obviously, it is a result of the treatment, or lack there of that caused it. The fact that the DVMs could not put 2 and 2 together is worriesome.

I hate even giving this vet 1 star. These people are crooks! I took my dog in and got an exam to get a health certificate for air travel and they said they needed his vaccine records from his previous vet. I gave them the vets info and they said they would contact them. 2 weeks later I never heard back from them. I called them and they said I had to pay another $48 exam fee and possibly more! They dont care about your pets, only money!

After 29 years with another hospital I chose Auburn South. One of the best decisions I have ever made where my critters are concerned. My dogs can be very difficult to deal with but Dr. Deb and staff knew how to win them over in no time. I highly recommended them.

Great Place! Weve been with them for a long time, at least 5 years. Great staff and doctors! I love that I get reminders when my cats are due for their boosters and check ups (since i have 3 and hard to keep up with them) Love this place!

They injured our dog. Was unable to walk after his X-rays. Shredded his crucia on his back legs. We had to let him go to heaven. They knew it and did not charge us from his cremation. I will never recommend them to anyone.

that they charge at the door if your pet is bleeding from a wound they want money 200 to even touch look at the pet who is in pain onthe floor who needs help which they couldnt provide
