It pains me to write this (I NEVER do reviews, have been on both sides of petcare & customer service) .. at least 2 staff members seemed to at least possess some sense of compassion (& they did stay past closing) but Ive never been through anything so traumatic & seemingly senseless. I took my on the brink of death/DEARly beloved cat to try & ease his pain quickly & painlessly but instead the last hr or so of his life was SHEER TORTURE. Too horrible for words but it was as if they had zero training- 1st excessive waiting, then squeezing/restraining him like Eric Garner (BLM), poking around countless xs for a vein, etc etc- went on for what seemed like FOREVER!!!- I will have nightmares for God knows how long. I hope my sweet angel boy forgives me :( *P.S.* In disputing the charges (sheerly for ethical reasons!), the manager had the nerve to argue and cop an attitude, as though this was the least bit normal or acceptable. I DO feel for those in this line of work who actually "get it", but if I had it to do over Id have aborted and taken him home immediately. This was cruel & unusual- if you love your furry children 1/2 as much as I did, find another vet.

I know a former employee that used to work there, so i know some inside info like the owners and most the employess smoke pot on their breaks. they care little about anything unless it is money. they will move an animal out a kennel clean it up show someone that this is the "clean" facility where we will house your recovering animal then when the customer is gone board 2 more animals in the same kennel. I have heard stories of when the owners husband Tom would go around with limbs from dogs that were put down and act like he was eating a large chicken wing to try to get a rise out of the staff. whatever niceness you get is only on the surface, they curse you the second you leave and in some instances the curse you to your face. i would not bring your pet within a mile of this place, i would actually boycott this place altogether.

I simply cannot say enough good things about CPVH. Dr.Vaughn is awesome. She saved my dogs life, and even took her home over the weekend to keep a close eye on her. I have always found their rates to be VERY reasonable and the care to be top notch. They dont play games and try to trump up fees and charges that are unnecessary just to squeeze a buck out of you either. I find that to be very comforting especially when you have the stress of needing immediate care for your animal. This is a place you can trust. I would take any negative reviews with a grain of salt, twice now we have had a major incident with our dog, and Dr. Vaughn has done a spectacular job with her both times. I refuse to go anywhere else.

Used CPVH since mid 1990s for vet and boarding. Theyve worked with me to keep several animals with challenging health issues happy and healthy well into late senior years. Boarding is great and includes a cute picture and a report card of your pets stay. Their rates have always been very reasonable. What more could you ask? Office: Plush for humans? No. Good for pets? Absolutely. The vets themselves have diverse personalities. I like an upfront approach without any coddling. Others dont. You can ask for your preferred vet when making appt. and the staff happily complies. All are very good. And, just like in human health clinics, urgent appointments require some flexibility

I recently moved to the area and needed a new vet to take my two cats two. My male cat had what I suspected was an UTI. I was able to be seen the same day, they have very convenient hours. My cats have vet aggression and they have never made me feel like it was a problem or that they were a pain to deal with. Every time I’ve had an interaction with the vet or any of the staff they have been patient with me and provided all options and thoroughly explained what they were doing, why they were doing it, what the results of all test are and what they mean for the health of your pet. The prices are fair – bottom line I would recommend this office to anyone.

I have brought my dog here since she was a puppy and she is now two. They have always been so rude and acted like my questions and concerns were stupid and irrelevant. I tried out the other Doctor they had thinking maybe she would be better. She came in and yanked my dogs head around because she was scared and was telling my dog she needs to stop acting up. Im sorry my dog doesnt like the vet, maybe because you guys treat animals like garbage? I tried giving this place many chances and nothing ever changed. DO NOT take your pet here. This place should be shut down period.

Very reasonable rates, and compassionate care. I have never had any bad experiences with this clinic, or the employees. Having worked at a very expensive Eastside clinic for many years, I know what I am talking about. Too many of these clinics are Corporate owned, and the staff are completely directed by making more money for the Corporation that owns them. Nice to find a Vet owned clinic that only looks at what the Corporation tells them they can do.

I will never bring my cat back to this vet. The staff was not only extremely rude, but the doctor hurt my pet. They werent caring or compassionate at all. I was very disappointed in the customer service and ability to communicate what was needed to heal my cat. I do not recommend this vet at all. There are many other nearby that will take much better care for your animal and around the same price point as well.

I went in yesterday to get my pug checked because I was unsure if he had fleas or not. The vet was nice, but every time I have gone in the vet assistants have not been friendly. At all. This time I heard them through the door talking about how could I not know my dog had fleas? How did I not know what to do? Im not an animal expert, thats why I come to you. After hearing that Im just going to go somewhere else.

A wonderful vet clinic with wonderful people. The vets are knowledgeable and caring. They helped me care for my very ill cat with love and dignity. They clearly care for the animals in their care. They are always helpful, practical and easy to talk to. They never try and force you to do work that isnt necessary. I completely trust them and wouldnt take my pets anywhere else.

I took my dog there and was given an incorrecct diapnosis which cost the life of our pet. Come to find out it was an easy and obvious fix after autopsy. Didnt like the doctor, she acted as if she didnt care and was bored. My concerns seemed to annoy her. I am hurt and angry about my loss over her stupid mistake.

Terrible service twice now when our dog was at their clinic and dieing, the vet yelled at my husband. We were camping and just wanted to say goodbye. Today my dog had a little gash, they didnt close for 15 minutes and the vet tech said she couldnt help us for a little wound on my dogs head.
