I had to have a tooth extracted. The dentist and professional staff were very competent and friendly. No problems at all there. The problem was at the front office. I had previously left a deposit of some $60 which they had for over a month. The balance due on the day of the extraction was about $120. I gave them two $100 bills. They didnt have change so we agreed for me to return with the balance the next day. When I went back, the balance wasnt the original $20 but over $40. The reason? They took away the cash discount. (1) They had my $60 for over a month which was not considered. (2) They would have had full payment if they had change. (3) They took away the cash discount on the full amount, including that which I had paid, when the amount owed was just over $20. They stuck to their guns and I found another dentist. Too bad -- I really liked the dentist.

We had a GREAT experience with Dr. Kerr and his staff today! Very honest and upfront about necessary work and cost. Our son is on the Autism Spectrum and they were very understanding and accommodating with him. All in all, a great practice. We look forward to visiting Kitsap Family Dentistry again in the future! :)
