I am very impressed with the quality of service my family receives with Dr. Bloomquist and her staff! She has been my dentist for almost 5 years now. I am also a Dental Assistant so I have unique level of respect for Dr. Bloomquist. Until about a year ago my 12 year old daughter was still seeing a childrens dentist because she hadnt grown out of it yet. Her check-ups were on a regular routine of twice a year since being a toddler. To my surprise, her last visit at her previous dentist, we were told she had 9 cavities in 7 different teeth! I knew this couldnt be right! I decided it was time for my daughter to move on to Dr. Bloomquist. Her exam and digital x-rays came down to my daughter only needing 2 very tiny resin tooth-colored fillings and several non-invasive protective sealants. We were so relieved that she didnt need have unnecessary dental treatment just to get insurance billing pay-out. With Karla Bloomquist, DDS you will not be treatment planned based off your insurance; but insurance limitations will be considered with helping you prioritize your dental work and maximizing your benefits. You will be educated and made aware of your dental options. You will remain under the same care of one dentist unlike the impersonal dental clinics who dont really get to "know" you. She encourages her patients to be proactive and gives you quality doctor-to-patient time. Her staff is awesome because she only wants the best for you! I highly recommend SoundBridge Dental Arts and Dr. Bloomquist!

SoundBridge Dental, Dr Bloomquist and the entire staff are wonderful. My family and I have enjoyed being in their care for 3 1/2 years. I have had a full range of dental care from cleaning to fillings and root canals and I am sure my dental health is in the best of hands. I may be considered an easy patient compared to my Special Needs adult daughter. They used a team approach to developed an individualized treatment plan talored to her unique needs. They treated her with all the kindness, calm, care and respect that they would give to any patient. She had a wonderful experience and frequently asks "when do I GET to go back to see Dr Bloomquist! (I kid you not!) The office staff is very friendly and efficient and we have always been treated courteously and respectfully. The office is run very efficiently and is beautiful and impeccably decorated and clean. As an added bonus you have a view of beautiful sky and100 foot tall trees from picture windows in all of the treatment rooms during your dental procedure.

I have recently moved to the Tacoma area. I have high anxiety and was nervous looking for a new Dental Office. I was calling offices and found that Sound Bridge Dental Arts had amazing customer service. They got me scheduled for the next day (thats good because I couldnt talk myself out of it). I got there and all the staff was wonderful and helpful. I felt comfortable immediately. Dr. Bloomquist is WONDERFUL! She is aware of my fear and talked to me through out the appt letting me know what she was doing. I left her office feeling confident and I could tell I didnt have as much fear scheduling my next appt. Highly recommend Sound Bridge Dental Arts!

We gave the office our group number and were told that they accept our insurance, so I went in for a checkup, x-rays and cleaning. Then, weeks later, we received the bill - $428. Insurance covered all procedures at 100%, and paid the office $236, which left us owing $192 for a routine office visit! Turns out this practice is out of network, but neglected to mention that before the appointment. When confronted, they claimed they DID inform us, the misunderstanding was entirely our fault, and they refused to adjust the charges.

My first impression of this dental clinic was great. I was happy with the friendly staff and facility during my consultation. I am not pleased with how I was treated when I had to do reschedule. I spoke with Dr. Bloomquist herself and was made to feel like it was my fault that they would have a gap in their schedule even after I had explained that my reschedule was due to a situation that was out of my hands. Dont play the blame game with customers...ever.

SoundBridge provided the worst customer service experience of any medical provider I have ever seen. VERY slow to respond to billing concerns and when they did the tone was accusatory, demeaning and quite hostile. While I have no issues with Ms Bloomquists competency as a dentist, her staff, especially the insurance and billing department leave a lot to be desired. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Bloomquist is awesome! I have been going to her office for about 8 years and she has taken great care of me. I have had braces in the past, four implants, two of which she has done, and have veneers that she did as well. I love my smile and am so appreciative of the work she has done for me. Her staff members are so welcoming and helpful as well. Thank you everyone at Soundbridge Dental Arts!

This is the BEST dental office Ive been ever been to. Dr. Bloomquist is the funniest, sweetest dentist Ive ever met. Shes very gentle and very knowledgeable, no question is a silly question with her. She answers all my questions fully and makes things easy for me to understand. Anytime I go to an appointment, I can honestly say I leave happy and satisfied.

Less than a week a crown had fallen out. I let Dr. Bloomquist know and showed up the next day. When I arrived to have it reset was told "this replacement is on me, the next one is on you ". I havent been back since!
