We were camping at Alta Lake and noticed our dog, Janie, wasnt feeling well (bloody diarrhea, confusion, loss of appetite). We assumed it was related to being in the car for so long + the heat + stress. The team was able to run blood work and suggested Janie had pancreatitis due to a high fat diet. That made sense since we were camping and gave Janie some scraps (wont be doing that again!). Barbara was incredibly helpful and informative during our emergency visit. The team was kind enough to let Janie hang out while we returned to camp to pack up and head home. Barbara prescribed a few different medications as well as Hills Prescription Diet w/d Digestive/Weight/Glucose Management dog food. We hope that with some snuggles, love, meds and new diet shell be okay.
