Dr. Mitch Luce (formerly at Twain Harte Vet Clinic) has opened his own practice at Live Oak Veterinary Hospital on Mono Way in Sonora. His new facility is large, beautiful, very clean, and is a "state of the art" practice. I took a tour of the entire facility and was very impressed. The staff was so friendly and helpful and Dr. Luce took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answered all my questions, which were extensive. As I am a Registered Nurse and work in surgery, I had a keen eye on checking the level of cleanliness and how knowledgeable the staff were. Everyone and everything exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with my choice to make Dr. Luce and Live Oak Veterinary Hospital my veterinarian for my beloved Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. They have my highest recommendation for anyone looking for an excellent Veterinarian who never treats his pet parents with a condescending approach, as did my former Veterinarian.

Just Me

I contacted this professional office to retain services for my furry baby who was in urgent need for care. We were scheduled out a week and during that period my fuzzy baby passed away. I contacted this professional office to let them know. And the receptionist was with out empathy on top of being unsympathetic in character was cold as ice . Very unprofessional and on top of it all there was not an offer any type of condolence. This office was negligible and my darling boy died because of this.

I went there 1 time for my cat Sophie. Its been about a year and a half ago now. They were awsome, caring and took my carecredit. They didnt charge a lot and made me feel much better about my fur babies health issue.
