They do great work and allow you to make a payment plan, as opposed to the many vets in the area that demand the $700 bill up front to get the dog back. However, my black dog came home with her leg covered in white tape; mom picked her up at five, then I get home at ten and remove the tape to find the IV still in her arm, which was causing her pain enough to stop walking around. The vet is definitely overworked (being the only one in Tuolumne and the only one that accepts payment plans), so always double check that all bits of hospital stuff are removed before going home. Other than that, they always find out whats wrong with my baby and make her good as new. One big mishap after years of service sucks, but its a better track record than the "people" doctors in the area. The more you go to them, the more of a "priority" your animal becomes, which means they will start to take your call after hours if possible.

I wish I could give no stars!!! PLEASE DONT TAKE your beloved pets here!!!!! We brought our cat here to get fixed and when we brought her home she was screaming so bad in pain we called the vet back and they said they were tring to get out of the office early but if we had to bring her back in, so of course we did right away. They said she needed to stay there the night so we let them keep her and then they called us and told us they had to put her DOWN!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE please dont go here.

I have taken my pets to Dr Rubenstein for 15 years. Best vet in the county. The other vets are too busy asking how you are going to pay. Dr Rubenstein takes care of your pets first. I have had 1 horse, 4 dogs and one cat over the years and Doc has been great to all. I recommend highly!

Loved the staff. Took care of my two dogs while I was at Black Oak Casino for the day. The price was great and the location is very convenient. I higjly recommend them.
