My husband got an ICL procedure done by Dr.Nicholson about 5 months ago. Our 4 months check-up was easy and my husband is now able to see 20/20 without the need of having to put contacts in or wearing his glasses. (My husband has had to wear glasses/CLs since he was 14 and his Rx was around the -10.0). This has changed his quality of life dramatically and he is a very careful man who had all the confidence in the world for Dr.Nicholson. There were times when my husband was having issues, such as seeing a white hazy line, or seeing a change of color and any time he had a question or concern, Dr.Nicholson would respond promptly with a reassuring answer. When my husband had doubts at the beginning Dr.Nicholson encouraged us to take as much time as we needed to decide whether or not we wanted to do the procedure. He was such a blessing and we are so lucky to have had him as our Doctor and surgeon. He would also email my husband to check-up on him and make sure he was still feeling okay about the procedure. I can write so much more about how amazing our experience was but this would be so long. You cannot find a better ophthalmologist in the region than Dr. Gary Chung. I first met him at a time when my eyes were severely injured -- he and the staff at Evergreen Eye Care helped me get back on the path to recovery. Two years later, I was ready for LASIK, and of course, I came back to Evergreen Eyecare and Dr. Chung. I researched other options, like the Lasik factories with coupons and flashy marketing. I was not impressed. Instead, I chose to go with Dr. Chung, because he is an award-winning physician and a genuine practitioner that I trusted. One day after LASIK, I now have nearly 20/40 vision in both eyes. I cant recommend these guys enough. A solid practice, incredible physicians, warm staff, better vision than I had since I was 13. Highly recommended. Very satisfied.

Everyone I dealt with at Evergreen Eye Center in Federal Way was friendly, helpful and obviously concerned that I have a positive experience. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the staff! I had cataracts removed and Toric IOL lenses implanted to correct my astigmatism. My vision is now better than it has ever been. Evergreen uses the latest in proven laser technology. Dr. Chung went out of his way to answer all questions I had and even made the surgery itself interesting by letting me know what was taking place as it happened. If you are considering laser eye surgery or are having any kind of eye problem Evergreen Eye Center is the place you should contact.

I spent 20 years unable to count my toes, unable to read expressions on peoples faces, wearing contacts and glasses. The consultation is free the advise is free. THE life changing PRK surgery is worth every penny. Dr Nicholson is obsessed with getting it perfect. Changing your vision for the best. MY life will be forever changed. I can not thank the staff and Doctors enough. I will recommend with high regard everyone who even thinks of getting eye surgery to go here. DONT believe me. GO see for yourself. THEY wont do it if your not 100 percent fixable. THEY wont waste your time. TRUST those who know, go see the best in washington state. You will not be disappointed.

I had Lasek surgery here and I would highly recommend it. Positives: Dr. Jarstad is fantastic, the lasek coordinator was great; the offices were comfortable, I felt completely confident that everything including after care would go well, and everything did go very well. Negatives: I had five appointments and the best timed one was 20 minutes late; the support staff in the OR waiting area was very unprofessional, I think they were chatting to keep us all comfortable before surgery but I found it annoying. Overall I recommend it, just be ready to wait and listen to chatty staff!

I went to Evergreen for my cataract surgery. Dr. Tester was nothing but kind, informative, and patient as I discussed my fear of the surgery. He was great in the OR, calming, and the nurses had my every fear eased by the time I got in for the procedure. He selected a "multifocal" implant, and although I had some out of pocket expense for the better lens, I am so happy I dont wear glasses anymore - definitely worth the money!! All the staff I encountered along the way were great, really knew their stuff! I would highly recommend Dr. Tester for anyone considering cataract surgery.

I had cataract surgery in January 2017 on both eyes. Recently, I had my final follow up exam with my regular physician. I had a great experience from my very first visit to my very final exam. My vision now is near 20/30. Dr. Nicholson was fantastic--I had absolute confidence in his care of me throughout the procedures. The staff at Evergreen Eye Center were wonderful--knowledgeable and helpful. The whole experience was low stress and high comfort. Why is it one of the best medical experiences one has in life is only needed once in a lifetime :)!

If you value your eye sight and your money,don"t go here ,I could see when i went in, now i can"t ,plus i lost my money. I went in for my right eye can"t see very good see better with my left eye then my right, tnen thinking all would be alright I paid for my left eye in to be done in July ,but change my mine no sence having two bad eye"s now it"s October 18th and still haven"t got my money back. Not a good place to go. My rating is a big fat {0 }Tom Tull

I had cataract surgery and cannot be more happy with the results. The people at Evergreen Eye Center are all very professional and care about the care they give. I would highly recommend anyone needing any type of eye surgery to contact these people and see what they can do. If i ever need any additional eye surgery i know where to go for the best service in Federal Way, Washington. Plus they give out some great mugs, lol.

Excellent Clinic, Evergreen Eye Center has taken care of everyone I know including myself. I had Lasek eye surgery here in 2000. I was very nervous but they were so reassuring and personal. The entire process was easy and took much less time than I thought, not to mention that I was seeing better before I walked out the door. A day later and I could see great. Highly recommended

Was treated well the moment I walked in to the consultation for prk eye surgery. Dr Nicholson is very straightforward and such a great doctor. Just went in yesterday for my 3 month checkup and can now see 20/20 without the use of corrective lenses. Now I wake up in the morning and can see!! Thank you. I had an excellent experience at Evergreen Eye Center. Dr. Nicholson performed my surgery and I had absolutely no problems whatsoever. He made me feel complete trust and confidence in him.
