I moved into the Kirkland area about 4 years ago and was looking for a vet for my cat, Frisket. Juanita Bay Veterinary came up with rave reviews and it is clear why. Over the course of the past four years they have always been caring, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. Frisket bounced around between Dr. Schaeffer and Dr. Fullerman but I was never in doubt over the quality of care that Frisket got. Sure, there may be slightly less expensive veterinary clinics around but the cost (in my opinion) is well justified. When my old cat was having some shortness of breath, they were able to accommodate me immediately, and when we found a cancerous mass, referred me out to a specialist who were able to treat Frisket properly. Juanita Bay Veterinary genuinely cares about your pets as much as you do and they know how much they mean to you. I would not hesitate bringing your cat or dog to Juanita Bay - you will be treated right.

Bought a new dog. All her records are from her previous vet in Woodinville. My dog was due for a bordatella shot so Juanita Veterinary was close to me and I called. They were going to require me to have a complete exam even though I have complete records from her last vet. To me that seemed unnecessary and just a way to pad the bill. So I went elsewhere. I can understand perhaps wanting to examine a dog without records of any kind, but a dog with a carefully documented health record shouldnt need it. That one business decision on their part cost them a long-term customer, and I found a vet that did not feel the need to "start the meter on me" right when I walked through the door.

I take my cat here, she doesnt like going to the vet and is very cranky but they are pretty good about knowing that and being very understanding. They are a bit more expensive than other vets I have been to but in a lot of cases I dont really mind, but I am very candid with them when I cannot afford something and they are good about understanding and giving alternative options. They really strive to give you a good experience.

This is such a great place to bring your dog and cat. The staff is so friendly and caring. The Doctors are so kind, helpful, and really know what they are doing. I just love the new building and so happy to see the changes they have done.

Dr. Mitchell was very helpful and took a lot of time answering my questions. I found the office a bit antiquated but the staff was friendly and Dr. Mitchell really seems to care about the animals.
