My experience with the Longview office was similar to those who posted 1 star on here. Contacting anyone by phone is near impossible, and I never got to see the doctor, only a nurse. I understand that a nurse can be trained to complete the intake, exam, and gather information for the doc to review- but If I am going to pay $679 to see the dermatologist, I would like to at least have the opportunity to ask questions and engage the doc. The nurse misdiagnosed the skin condition on my hands- prescribing a cream that I studies had shown had a steroid in it that impacted fertility in men in their 30s (thats me). I never picked up the medicine as I wanted to wait for the lab results. I had to call multiple times, and 8 days later they told me the results, but did not send me a copy, or even offer to send me one. Again I had questions, but there was no doctor answering them, and all I received was very basic information that was not helpful in understanding what I could do for treatment. I was billed for multiple lab tests, and yet they said they could not give me further information about what conclusions could be drawn. Basically. They have a monopoly on dermatological care in our area- and if I had to choose I would say the drive to another location would be worth your time and money. I have decent insurance (which I heard the Medical Assistant confirm), and so it seems they saw an opportunity to file every claim they could think of for my visit. Now I am stuck with a $679.00 bill, for inconclusive care that was never even directly addressed by the medical professional I paid to see.

My experience with Silver Falls Dermatology was not a good one. I found that they have absolutely no customer service, it is impossible to call the office where you have an appointment. The main office in Salem does not answer their phone, they do not respond to voice messages that you leave, they do not respond to emails or even non-positive comment cards left after your office visit. The original procedure that they performed went as expected, my follow up visit was another story. My appoint card had invalid conflicting dates and days. Prior to my appointment date I attempted to call their office to check dates. On the appointed day I tried to call the office to insure that my appointment was indeed scheduled. No reply! I went to my appointment after losing roughly seven hours of my day. The receptionist that had made out the appointment card incorrectly merely informed me that the person that I was to see wasnt there that day. They did give me a new card with for the following month. I left a comment card with my email address and phone number. I did receive a voice mail from their office which informed me that my appointment had been rescheduled. The one positive thing to be said for this organization is that they have a real crackerjack billing department!

Silver falls in longview WA was a really great experience for me. I didnt have a dermatologist in my area and drive an hour to Longview to see them. It is worth it. They are friendly and kind and go out of there way to accommodate you. Lisa peters and her medical assistant Ashlynd was who I worked with, I am all done seeing them now and Ill miss them. They are a great team and I would recommend them to anyone.

I found the place unprofessional, not what I would expect from a medical office. I was told to expect results from a biopsy in 7-10 days and if I didnt hear from them that I needed to call. Well, its been a month. I have called and no one picks up and the voice mail is not connected. Dr. Boylon seems like a nice man, but he had a very nonchalant attitude throughout my visit. I wont be going back.

Slightly disappointed. Felt like I threw away 35.00 out of my pocket plus whatever they charge my insurance just to hear, "I dont know whats wrong, go to Portland." They didnt run any sort of test or anything. My poor 6 month old has had this rash for 2 months. Definitely wont be back in the future.

Amazing, very helpful, responsive, and caring. Got the care I needed and fast! I live near Portland and would drive the distance again for any dermatology needs.

The Drs and other staff were amazing, not to mention caring.
