Casey Pinch, at Peninsula Dermatology, is absolutely phenomenal! For anyone who is looking for a higher standard of service, and for a higher level of personal service for their derma logical needs, Casey is without question a top dermatologist that one should consult with. I had a skin flare up that came out of nowhere and my previous dermatologist told me that they could not get me in for 2 ½ months. When I told them that I couldn’t imagine that it could go unattended for 2 ½ months their recommendation was to go see a primary Doctor or go to Urgent Care. After going to Urgent Care, and following their recommendations, the flare up only got worse. Someone who knew Casey reached out to him on my behalf, and asked if he could possibly recommend a direction for me to take. He got in touch with me right away, personally, and said that he could see me later that day, and that his office was expecting my call for scheduling. Upon meeting Casey, he was not only extremely professional, and extremely knowledgeable, but actually seemed to care about his patient and diagnosing the actual cause and condition vs. simply getting me in and out as quickly as possible and on to his next appointment- even though he had to go out of his way to fit me in to the days schedule without advanced notice. His diagnosis and treatment schedule were spot on, and I started seeing dramatic improvements and healing by the next morning. He is excellent.

I took my daughter to see Julienne Bottom to address typical teenage acne. Medication was prescribe and her skin improved within a few months. Though Ms. Bottom does not have much of a bedside manner we returned for a follow up as requested. While at that appointment I asked Ms. Bottom about another skin condition we had noticed. She was dismissive and condescending and insisted it was lice despite a laundry list of evidence to suggest otherwise. After leaving her office, I did my own research and learned about a condition that does at first glass appear to be lice but is actually a secretion from the sebaceous glands. The symptoms and appearance exactly matched what my daughter is experiencing. I would expect a dermatologist of all people to recognize something so simple but I understand mistakes happen. I contacted Peninsula Dermatology to express my frustration with the visit and they chose not to respond at all. I am very disappointed and will not be returning because of the terrible customer service from both the skin professional and office staff.

How can I give more than 5-stars to the Peninsula Dermatology Clinic for excellence in customer service and quality of care that I personally receive each and every time I’ve gone in for a consultation and/or treatment? Sally greets you at the reception desk and makes you feel very welcome and takes immediate action to ensure you do not have to wait very long for your appointment. Even after moving from Washington to Wisconsin, I continue to fly back because I will not let anyone but Dr. Rasmussen and his staff take care of me. Even after filler and Botox, and never bruising and no discomfort, Vicki is the only person I will let work on my face. Doctor Rasmussen is so professional and takes whatever time is necessary to answer questions and you know you have been taken care of by the very best. I highly recommend anyone that wants to look and feel better to drive, or fly, even if out of the way, to get the best treatment possible.

My son and I are both patients at this clinic and every time we have gone its been a great experience! The staff members in the front are very nice and welcoming and even interact with my son while were waiting! The dermatologist we see is Victoria Heinz and she is incredible! She is so personable and has a really spunky personality, making her easy to talk to, but at the same time offers a great knowledge about the things we are there to meet with her about. She always spends the time we feel that we need to understand the diagnosis and what she recommends we do for treatment. Ive never felt rushed or like my questions were an inconvenience and she makes us feel comfortable! I wouldnt dream of changing clinics because I feel our needs and expectations are met and then some! We have since referred a few family members and friends here who are now patients as well! I would 100% recommend Peninsula Dermatology in Gig Harbor!!

I went to Peninsula Dermatology & Laser in Gig Harbor to seek treatment for what I suspect is a small malignant lesion on my forearm, something dermatologists treat routinely. At the reception desk I indicated I would be paying the full amount in cash and I asked them to offer some idea as to what the service would cost. They immediately, and without any reason or apology, said they would not offer any information about the cost. They also gave me the impression that they thought I should feel rather foolish for even asking (it was not overt). I made a tentative appointment anyway (subsequently cancelled) and the first piece of paper they gave me required a signature agreeing to pay the full, and still mysterious, cost of the service. If you are a cash paying customer dont expect to be treated in a professional, business like fashion by this "business". To be fair I should note their behavior may not be atypical for the industry.

1- DO NOT GO HERE! 2- I have been going to this office for almost 5 years for acne. I had to ask Victoria Hinze to put me on accutane the first time, and half way through I moved. I end my first treatment somewhere else which was great because they were willing to do a higher douse. I came back and after having been off for about 6 months my acne was bad again so I went back to her. I had to take 3 pregnancy tests a month because her people continuously failed to get my prescription to the pharmacy on time. I asked her to increase my dosage, because I didnt think it was working right. She said she wouldnt take it about 60 a day. Needless to say once I was off the medicine my acne got bad again, and I had paid over 200$ for extra pregnancy tests. The staff if you call dont answer the phones and when they call you back they are very rude to you. DO NOT GO HERE!

I just had the BEST medical office visits Ive ever had and I am 42 years old. It was so good and so thorough that I decided to write a review which I never do, in logging on seeing these negative comments and one star saddens me. There is no way that this office reflects negatively on their patient care. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone seeking medical dermatology. Yes, I did have a bit of a wait however with the shortage of dermatologist nationwide this is to be expected. I in no way shape or form felt rushed or miss diagnosed! Last time I checked the providers are the ones with the medical degrees not me therefore I am still in need of good health care, and I am not one to self diagnosed myself on web M.D.! So with all that being said I rate peninsula dermatology and their staff it five stars they were amazing!
