Everything about Woodside is amazing. But add terrible customer service over the phone and it ruins a good 80% of the experience. I called trying to make an appointment this morning for my cat who was showing symptoms of a UTI over the weekend and got a "why didnt you make an appointment earlier" attitude. The girl who I got was very unhelpful and didnt seem to show any concerns for my pets well being. I have a very demanding work schedule and I understand that the animal hospital can be very busy. But you could still show a little more care and empathy for your customers over the phone. I did manage to get an appointment and someone to take my cat in for anyone whos concerned. This review is mostly geared towards the poor customer service and the condescending treatment I received over the phone.

I just have to write a little something here. I cant let it go.Dr Mike,incredibly sensitive, caring Doctor. I had a cat. Blackamus King.A New Yorker like me. 18 yrs old & time to go to heaven.Old age. ( They just dont live long enough!)Before he began to suffer, ( it can hurt to die) Dr Mike saw him. It was obvious,he was dieing. BUT, Dr Mike examined him, checked him out.Took his time so gently. His last physical. He was worth his time. Even though when he looked at him I know he knew.He was WORTH it; Is my point. Really meant so much to my husband & myself. You are in my heart Dr Mike. I will always take my babies to you & only you.Thank God for Doctors like Dr Mike. The sweet creatures of Port Orchard have an angel. Doctor Mike. Thank you.

Weve gone to Woodside for the last 11 1/2 years with our cat(s). From kittens to now one is 11 1/2, theyve taken wonderful care of our little guys. We had to put one down a couple years ago due to cancer and they were so kind, compassionate and fee friendly during the difficult process. They are also a wonderful place to board our kitty when we go out of town. I definitely trust them with my little four legged furry family member.

Great place to take your pet! The vet was very knowledgeable, and very nice to my naughty kitten! They gave me a kitten package with lots of good stuff to know about early on diseases and even a first flea treatment too! The cost was very good considering the other places in port orchard. Would recommend to anyone!

I got two min-pin pups in December and on a friends recommendation I took them to Woodside. Dr Mike is so lovely with his patients and my dogs adore him. He takes the time to play with them and he gets showered with puppy dog kisses. The suppprt staff is lovely too. I am nothing short of delighted with them all :-)

They are empathetic to our needs and concerns and go over and beyond for our pets and for us. It was because of previous reviews that had us make our first appointment with Woodside. But it is their compassion and knowledge that keep us with them. Theres no need to look for another clinic.

Having just recently added our new member to the family I wanted a local place to take my dog. Im very glad that I chose Woodside. The service is great and the follow up calls asking about my dogs health says that they care about what they are doing.

A great place to take your pet. I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with Woodside; Titan (my GS) doesnt seem to mind the place either. Dr. Balderama is great and very knowledgeable; he will not mislead you!

Went in there with my cat having difficulty breathing; my guy unfortunately died but the people at Woodside were great. They gave us a paw print memorial for him, for free, and were really caring.

I had to put my old dog down but had very little money and they did it for me for very cheap, the staff was wonderful and I got paw prints of my dog with her name on it too. They were the best!
