I have been a consistent customer at Minter Vet Hospital for many years. Virtually since I moved here 20 years ago. I have never met a more caring, dedicated, compassionate staff. The vet, Jeff Irwin is fantastic. He has cared for all of my animals of which there have been many. The care is excellent and appropriate from the cradle to the grave. No pushing heroics to save an older animal if that is not the wishes of the pet owner. Dr Irwin has a gently guiding hand in the care of a pet. My pets have been through broken bones, bowel obstructions, cancer and dog fights. In each case I felt well supported in my decisions for care provided. The cost of the pet care is reasonable and is consistent with the other vets in the community. And getting an appointment is a pleasant experience. If you have an ill animal it will be seen. Over all I have NO complaints about Minter Vet Hospital. They are a bright star in my life caring for the ones that I love well. I highly recommend Jeff Irwin and his staff to provide competent, compassionate care to your animals.

I have been associated with Dr. Jeff Irwin and Minter Veterinarian Hospital since 1998, the better part of 20 years. Dr. Irwin is talented and compassionate, in short the best veterinarian doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I would trust any animal with Dr. Irwin and his staff without hesitation. He has been my vet for two of the most important beings in my life and has always given them the best care available. On numerous occasions Dr. Irwin has gotten my 4-footers and I through some critical surgeries with excellence. Oh that all of the vets in the world had Dr. Irwins skill, compassion, and tenacity the world for all animals and their humans would be a better place.

We took all of our dogs to see Irwin Jeffrey. Then 11 years ago we moved to Port Orchard wa, our dogs passed away. Now we have 2 St. Bernards, and a mix of many things ( Truly we have no idea what kind of mixes he is but hes ours ) and our pets are just as much part of our family as anyone else is. There is no better vet in the world then Irwin Jeffrey. So if you are looking for a very good, loving vet, his heart is as big as the moon for every animal and human there is out there.

I discovered that my cat has worms, this morning. I called and they were very helpful and friendly. I was able to pick up medication for my cat, within the hour. They were extremely busy this morning, but they still treated me with courtesy and thoughtfully answered all my questions. I so appreciate that I can trust that not only will my animals be treated well, but I will be treated with kindness and respect, as well.

Dr Jeff cares for animals in such a special manner. Five stars just isnt enough for the level of compassion that everyone at this vet shows. Tanya is spectacular at the front desk, the techs always treat my dog and cats with care. As soon as Dr Jeff comes in my dog is going to the floor to show her belly. She never did that before and has trouble with males but she looooves Dr Jeff.

We found Dr. Irwin after our vet of many years retired. Dr Irwin is really helping our dog live out his senior years in health and comfort. He does this without requiring unnecessary testing and procedures. He keeps up on the latest animal care research and explains things very well. The staff at the clinic is also excellent. What a gem in our rural area!
