The new management and staff want to gouge you for every last nickel. Ive been a customer of Greenwood Optical since 2007. The business was run by a super nice guy called Gary until he retired in 2014. I really miss the superior service Gary provided -- it was so good that I even continued to buy my frames from him after moving to the East coast. For Gary, running the business wasnt all about squeezing every last dollar out of each customer. Since Garys retirement I have been unhappy with my experiences at Greenwood Optical. The culture is no longer about working with the customer and providing outstanding service; it is all about the almighty dollar. I can no longer recommend this business. There are many better alternatives nearby.

A Private User

The exam was great. I was given great individual attention and help by the knowledgable and savvy staff when choosing my frames. The owner sat down with me, finalized the process, and explained everything in my bill. Perfect. They also have this AWESOME mirror/camera so you can compare pics of yourself, side-by-side when youre choosing glasses.

She could not make the experience more comfortable. Its very good support local businesses, especially when they are so deserving of it.

Dr Monterola did an expert exam; all the staff are friendly and helpful. I had my varilux glasses made in house; cost me more than using my insurance, but worth getting an accurate prescription. My two best set of glasses that Ive had made in seattle have been made here. Highly recommend!
