Reasons why University Physical Therapy is pretty darn awesome: - Personalized care: Im a 3 time ACL tearer with early arthritis. Kyle considers your history, your current situation, and your goals in creating a treatment plan. Even though it was undiagnosed, he noticed my knee soreness was related to tight hamstrings, so he focused more on stretching and eases off the exercises. Kyle knows Im trying to get back to hiking, so we focus a lot on going up inclines/declines . The awesome thing is he really focuses on how to move correctly even if it means going back to basics, and explains how each exercise is targeting a certain muscle and why that muscle is important. - Really friendly staff: UPT is a small location, run by Kyle (the main PT), Julie (the PT-A), and Brent and Laura, the receptionists and assistants. They always remember who you are and whats going on in your life, and they treat you like an individual and not just another patient. - Time spent: my 1-hr appts have often gone over because the priority is finishing my exercises. Ive once emailed with a question about sore knees and Kyle replied by the end of day.

I came into University Physical Therapy after many years of avoiding dealing with my nagging long-term injuries. I had issues with my knee, lower back and shoulder. The physical therapist was able to quickly diagnose all three issues. He also quickly developed a treatment plan specific to each of my specific needs, and made sure to educate as well as rehabilitate. After a few weeks, I noted significant improvement in all three areas, especially my knee. I also experienced a vehicular accident around the middle of my therapy, and the additional issues, (neck and back) were again immediately diagnosed, with an effective treatment plan. I am extremely grateful for my positive experience here, and I definitely recommend giving them the opportunity to work with you. The staff is youthful, capable as well as genuinely warm and friendly. I greatly appreciated the laid back atmosphere, and I will be going back to see them again for any future issues.

Ive been a PT patient for the past 25 years - at about 15 different clinics. Kyle is hands-down the best and most effective Physical Therapist Ive ever worked with. You wont come here and be handed a typical canned set of exercises - Kyle also analyzes correlating factors such as personal movement patterns and helps you learn proper body mechanics for longterm better outcomes. Hes helped me learn how to move differently, and the effect is that my chronic pain is at long last starting to get better - a real change for me - and something that I have not been able to achieve at other PT groups. The other significant part of PT is the rest of staff - they are all helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming to not only me, but to all the other clients Ive observed. I cant recommend this practice more highly.

I started coming here as a result of knee pain I encountered from hiking. Kyle was wonderful about explaining the cause of the pain, answering all my questions about different muscles and joints and movements, and suggesting exercises and progressions that would help. Hes very attentive, and if there was ever a problem with how an exercise was going, like if I wasnt feeling it where I was supposed to, he was great with offering fixes on my form. Awesome, knowledgable guy. I dont have knee problems with hiking anymore! Besides that, the front desk -- I spoke mostly with Laura -- is very helpful and patient with insurance information, payment, and scheduling, which also made for an even better experience. :)

University Physical Therapy is easily the best group of PTs Ive worked with before. I have had multiple surgeries over the years, and worked with with several PT clinics in order to rehab from injuries and surgeries. University Physical Therapy has been my best experience out of all of them. Kyle and his team took time to understand my rehab goals, limitations, and history in order to come up with the best program for me. The PTs and PTAs at University Physical Therapy take time to not only understand your condition, but also get to know you as a person which makes spending time there a lot more enjoyable. If youre serious about your rehab and want the best in the area I would highly recommend their team.

I was having issues with my knees gradually increasing in pain due to work, and I met with Kyle for one session. I work outside and hike on average 3-6 miles per day. He quickly diagnosed the issue that was causing me pain (poor posture while walking), and suggested a few changes in posture that would help alleviate the pain. Two months later, and the pain levels in my knees have dramatically decreased. Nothing else has changed, same boots, same terrain, same work load, except I follow the tips that Kyle offered me! Top notch advice that has helped me immensely.

I worked here as an Office Manager/Aide for a year with Kyle. I saw this clinic grow in both staff and patient numbers, which only reflects the passion and drive Kyle has for his clinic, the well-being of his patients, and this profession. I am currently in PT school and have been fortunate enough to have worked with a therapist like Kyle. His advice, experience, and knowledge of this profession are things an aspiring PT student would be lucky to be exposed to. Kyle has strengths as a physical therapist that I aspire to have as a future physical therapist.

After a shoulder surgery, coming to University Physical Therapy significantly helped my recovery process. Kyle is very knowledgeable and experienced on how to handle and help me gain my range of motion back. His method of stretches and exercises are all very effective. Julie and Laura are also great physical therapists who reflect Kyle’s exceptional knowledge and work ethics. Overall, this location has great and friendly physical therapy staff, which I highly would recommend to anyone considering therapy.

Im a 23 year old former college athlete who went to University Physical Therapy for sciatica pain and it was the best PT experience Ive had. Ive been to several places in the past for back and shoulder troubles, but Kyle, Julia, and the whole staff were more perceptive to what I and my body were saying and put an effective plan into place where I was noticeably improving with every visit. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, will definitely be returning the next time I need PT!

This place is amazing, I came in with lower back pain and sciatica and quickly assessed what the issue was. Ive been going for a few months now and Ive really made progress compared to when I first began! I had pain all the way down my right leg and now I have little to no pain with my back completely resolved. Kyle and Julie are friendly and very knowledgeable, theyll work with you and give you exercises to work on at home. Id highly recommend anybody to UPT for any injury.

Ive had a great experience with physical therapy here. Came in with hip pain while marathon training and Kyle immediately saw the issue, educated me on proper gait and muscle use, and gave me exercises for strength. Partway through treatment I started having knee pain and he effortlessly switched care to accommodate the new issue. I will be running my race next week and couldnt have done it without him!

University PT is amazing! I have been doing PT there for a couple of months, and have improved my flexibility and overall health immensely. Julie is a great physical therapist and has taught me how to continue with the exercises at home so that I improve even more. Overall 11/10 would recommend for any sort of injury or general health improvement.
