Dr. Ray and staff were excellent, compassionate, and caring when it was time to euthanize my senior dogs. They did not question my judgment that it was time or try to make me feel bad or that I should have done more. They were respectful and did everything possible to make an incredibly difficult decision as stress-free as possible. We were able to stay with both dogs throughout the entire process - hold and talk to them, let them know they were loved. Dr. Ray explained the procedure so we knew what would happen, and afterward, he and his staff let us spend as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. Despite this being one of the worst days of our lives, we can only thank them for being so gentle and solicitous of our dogs and us. The cost was also very reasonable, unlike many other area vets. Highly recommend this practice for all your vet needs.

We love this vet. He is compassionate and competent. The prices are reasonable. However, I have two sick cats right now, and was told by the receptionist that there are no appointments available either today or tomorrow. I was told to go to the emergency clinic or to find another vet. She never offered to relay a message to our vet or to see if he could squeeze in another appointment. I am not going to an emergency clinic. Have you seen Emergency Prices? When I do find another vet who will make time to see my kittens today, that will be our new vet. I am very sorry to lose Dr. Descent, but if his office staff makes it so difficult to get in when necessary, Ill have to find someone who cares.

Dr. Ray is knowledgeable and compassionate. He doesnt over-prescribe and he doesnt over-charge like some of the big and fancy VCA clinics, and he has always provided excellent care for our three cats. We tried five other vet clinics when we moved to this area before we found Dr. Ray. One of our cats loves Dr. Ray so much that he has a fit if the other two need to be seen and he doesnt, so we have to take him in anyway. Weve never had a cat that loved the vet before!

Dr. Decent is a wonderful vet, and the office has extremely reasonable prices (especially when you consider the area). I believe he is honest, and truly cares about your animal and however you choose to raise him/her without being judgmental. Weve been seeing his office for 5 years now, and although the front office staff can be off and on, depending who is working, the doctor is the reason we come back again and again :)

Dr. DeCent is one of the best! If you are looking for a vet that actually practices original vet medicine and not the new age (order everything under the sun just to make some extra $$) this is your guy. He knows his stuff and its all for the love of animals. My boxer boy is very timid around strangers but Dr DeCent knew just what to do, and within minutes it was like they were old buddies! Cant say enough good things!

I love this vet! I took my pit/lab mix and my cat here for the first time last week, and it was a great experience. The exam wasnt rushed at all, and the vaccinations went great. I was referred there by a friend, and I am really glad I took her advice. Dr. Decent was so patient and spent a lot of time talking about my dog and cats health and gave great advice with the concerns I had with them.

I brought my 2 year old German Shepherd here for an infection he had. The doctor prescribed conflicting medications and then after a few weeks of seeing no improvements finally referred me to Summit Valley Referral Center (where they discovered the conflicting medications.) My dog died 1 week later.
