I was under the care of another doctor when Dr. Mascio took over or bought out. Initial care was fine until I became very sick with 102 temp early 2015 and called the doctors office and asked what I should do. They called in prescriptions into my pharmacy. I took the medicine and I only grew worse. I called two more times asking if I should come in or go to the hospital, but never received a phone call back. After that I went to the Med Express and was told I should have been seen right away. A few days later, I was feeling better. Fast forward to the beginning of October when I was hurt at work and was told to see my doctor. I called my doctor and they said it would take two weeks to be seen. Then I was foolishly asked if I wanted an appointment made? Really? Again, I went to Med Express the same day. During this time I was able to get in and asked for medicine and FMLA papers to be written up and was told that it would cost $25 after the co-pay for them to be filled out. To me this is price gouging. It takes five minutes to fill out the small part of the form they need to fill out. I know this because I have sat and watched another doctor fill it out for me before. Also, I know other patients that havent been charged by this office even though it is their "policy". Poor care, lack of care, and attitude from people that are supposed to take care of people makes me wonder why some of these folks are in this profession.

I MY SELF HAS NOT WENT TO DR STEPHEN MASICO I GO WITH JOHN IN CASE THERES PAPERS NEED FILLED OUT IM SURE THE VERY NICE AND PLEASENT LADY AT THE WINDOW WOULD HELP HIM JOHN REALLY LIKES DR MASCIO HE IS THE ONLY DR HE WILL GO TO IM GREATFUL FOR HIM JOHN SAID HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING YOU ASK ABOUT DOES NOT JUDGE YOU AND THE LADYS ALWAYS HAS A SMILE ON THERE FACE AND TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND WHEN THE LADY AT THE WINDOW TALKS TO YOU ITS NOT LOUD FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR HIS BUSNISE THEY ARE WONDERFUL IM THINKING ABOUT CHANGEING DRS AND GO TO DR MASCIO HIS STAFF AND HIM ARE JUST WONDERFUL I WOULD HIGHLY RECAMEND HIM TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND famialy ty

I felt very uncomfortable when dealing with them for a sleep study... seemed to be getting kickbacks from the sleep equipment supply company, they were very unwilling to give me my prescription so I would have the freedom to buy wherever I wanted - I finally got one and they wrote it so it would be difficult for me to buy separately ... when I asked them to fix it, they wanted another appointment- I argued about it (no cussing or anything) and got hung up on... I dont write bad reviews often, but when I get hung up on... I share my story
