Avoid this place! I went there last week with a bladder infection. The attending doctor looked at a specimen under a microscope, and told me "There is no doubt in my mind that you have a RAGING bladder infection". After he listened to my heart and lungs ( during which he burped and never even acknowledged that he had done so! ), he gave me a prescription for antibiotics. Four days later, when I was no better and called the office back, I was told he "didnt have time to call me in another antibiotic", but "if I was in a lot of pain, I could come back into the office and he would see me again".....I immediately went back to the office, and was never able to even see the doctor again, because the rude receptionist began to tell me that they had sent the specimen to the lab, and that it came back negative and there was nothing wrong with me....to stop taking the antibiotic! She never could answer my repeated questioning as to how the doctor said I had a "RAGING bladder infection; how he said he could see white blood cells and bacteria in the urine sample", and now, even though I am still in pain, have NOTHING wrong with me????? She handed me a prescription for "dye tablets"...the same thing as AZO, which was what I was taking when I first went there. I went to fill the prescription at the pharmacy, and told the pharmacist what had just happened, and even she said something was not right, and to call them back, and even have them call her if need be. I got home and called Doctors Care back, and got the same rude receptionist, who proceeded to get an attitude with me on the phone. She said, " I ALREADY TOLD YOU, maam, to take the dye tablets we gave you." I will NEVER go back to this so called doctors office. They need to remember who pays their salaries! I honestly hope this place goes out of business, and I hope that every person who works there gets a "raging bladder infection", and receives the same shoddy medical service that I was given at their office!

Overall experience was good. The only thing that I didnt like at the time is that I had to wait for a period of time because they were short staffed. When I was finally seen I had wonderful service. And the physician that I saw was nice and caring and took her time to see me and explain what needed to be explained to me. The doctor told me that I would have to come back the next day for fasting blood work done. Now at the end of service the thing that I didnt care for was the fact that I was charge a deductible when I had only a co-pay and was told that I had to pay that before my co-pay, which was not true. I then called my insurance and they told me the same thing that I should not have to pay the deductible. Having to go back the next day for blood work they told me that I had a co-pay then. I told them that I did have to pay that because this was a continuing visit from the day before and just doing blood work and was told that I would not be charge...let alone I paid a portion of the deductible. This receptionist looked at what was done and then said that I didnt have to pay that co-pay since I paid a portion of the deductible and should not have done that and they would credit that towards 2 co-pays. Liked the service of the doctors but the person that is in charge of billing needs to be sure she has her information correct. I left this review over a couple of months ago. Once again I go to this office. I had a much better experience at this location. I didnt have to wait a long period of time to be seen and once I was seen for my vitals the doctor came in my room to tell me what was going on in my situation. I am more please with the staff. Thanks Doctors Care of Beaufort.

My mom brought me once at this same location when I was a little girl and they were so nice, so now that Im eighteen I thought I would make doctors care my primary care. Went today and the ladies up front SUPER NICE understanding and most importantly they listened on the other hand was called to the back and the nurse was so rude eating somethings pushing me into the restroom cut me short every time I said somethings the gentlemen doctor was rude didnt even come in but I can hear him talking in the hallway with the nurse about somethings I said. The only reason I gave it a three was because the ladies up front and i was seen fast I feel like if you have an opinion about something keep it to yourself and do your job Im on birth control because I used to play sports in high school just graduatedand June 6 And I did not want an accident to happen while Im in spandex or white basketball shorts That why I got on birth control but for some staff to around the office talking inappropriately to where Im able to hear is so unprofessional

Horrible customer service! They wouldnt see me because I have a small balance(I have insurance that does pay 90%)I hadnt even received a bill but wanted me to pay the amount today! I could have payed tomorrow she did not try to talk to me about or anything like there was no option. You dont treat people the way I was treated when I walked in there today especially being sick and I was in scrubs to working. Guess she didnt like me ! I will get seen tomorrow and my insurance will pay 100% because my deductible is now met where it wasnt in January but I promise it will not be at Doctors Care!! And maybe if a bill was sent it would be paid.. ugh but not only about the money they need training on how to talk and treat people! Just wanted to clarify after reading other comments about sane person it was the older lady and I do believe there are a few people that wont be back because of her attitude

Love this doctors office! I have been here a few times for both work and personal related reasons. All times I have been seen by Dr. OQuinn.. he is very professional and understanding. Office appears to be very clean, organized, and the wait time is not very long! Love that you can check-in online so you dont have to wait even longer at the office. Will definitely be using Doctors Care as my primary care in the future. Only reason I gave 4 star (wish I could give a 4.5) is because I feel like some of the reception staff (not my recent visit) doesnt seem like they want to be there. I understand it can be a stressful job.. but they are the first thing people see when they come into the office, so this is something extremely important to me and Im sure to many others. Overall a fantastic facility and i would highly recommend this place to others!

Location is good. The blonde receptionist in her 50s is really rude. She told me they didnt take insurance. I told her I called and they said they did. She asked her co worker. Her Co worker told her we do. As I was filling out the paperwork she gave me more wrong info that she had to clarify with her worker then correct. I handed her my paperwork and as she was putting it in she kept asking questions that I had filled out on the paper. She ruined the visit for me until I met the nurse who took my weight and blood pressure. Her personality, understanding and knowledge improved the visit. Lady who attended me was a PA? I guess not a DR. She was dressed really casually with no scrubs or professional attire. She was quick and thorough. Well see if her treatment was right.
