We live just a few blocks from St. Francis Animal Hospital, and its very convenient for us to take our cats there for care. We absolutely love Dr. Flynn. She is compassionate, caring, and very gentle. A couple weeks ago, we needed to put our 18 year-old cat Bailey down... a heartbreaking decision. They has previously worked so diligently and patiently with us with treatment as Bailey battled diabetes (and he finally went into remission). They handled it so beautifully - had a nice quilt all spread out for him, and Dr. Flynn walked us through what was going to happen, step by step. Baileys passing was quick and very peaceful - nonetheless sad and painful for us, but Dr. Flynn and her assistant were very understanding and gave us some time to grieve alone before quietly leaving Bailey behind. The grace and kindness with which the whole situation was handled only confirmed for me that our pets are in good hands at St. Francis Animal Hospital. Truly, you cant go wrong with them.

I moved to Milwaukee about 8 months ago and have taken my Shih Tzu puppy there twice - once because she was ill and once for a routine check-up. They were amazing with my dog and so friendly. I also called them several times to talk about behavioral issues with my dog and the doctors were more than willing to talk to me each time over the phone and provide sound advice and suggestions - all without having to bring her in and pay for a visit. I love this place!! Similar to another recent review on here, for evening and Saturday afternoon emergencies or short notice care, St. Paul Veterinary Clinic on 27th is very good as well.

I have been taking my cats and two dachshunds here for about 8 years for routine care, shots, teeth cleaning, and some surgeries. I have always been happy with the service and found them to be very friendly and professional. I have been using them for boarding as well and am happy with the care in that regard too. For evening emergency or short notice care, I have been really pleased with St. Paul Clinic as well. If St. Francis is closed or cant fit me in when I need, it is a nice back up vet.

From my 1st visit back in 1982 to my latest check in just yesterday, I cannot say enough about the place. I have known for a while that Dr P was going to retire, but now that it is here, I am sad! We wish him a long, and enjoyable retirement. Every one of my furkids have been here, including many of my fosters. It will be hard to call up and ask for a different vet. Thank you Dr P for many, many years of trusted guidance and advice and care for our many animals.

We love St. Francis Animal Hospital! This was our second vet that we tried out for our puppy. Both doctors we have seen have been extremely helpful and informative. Our questions, from potty training to vaccinating, are answered thoroughly and thoughtfully. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. When our puppy was ill they delivered our message to Dr. Flynn who called us back right away with great advice. This will be our permanent veterinary clinic.

Love my peeps at St. Francis Animal Hospital! I have been taking my dog here for a number of years now and they are just wonderful, caring, and compassionate people. I trust them with dogs life. They are so patient with me and all of my questions as well since I am probably considered a nervous nelly with my pooch. I cant say enough great things about them! Dr. Flynn you rule! However, all of the vets are great at this place!

We are recent transplants to Milwaukee and have our dog and two cats cared for by St. Francis Animal Hospital. Friendly front office staff, good vets (we have only seen 2 of the 4), and convenient to where we live in Bay View. Sometimes tough to get appointments, especially if you need evenings or Saturdays (who doesnt) and especially in the spring (heart worm screening season). But otherwise great place for our pets.

Wonderful staff and vet, affordable, and HONEST. The vet was SUCH a sweetheart-she really liked our cat Smokie. :) We have decided this is going to be our regular vet clinic from now on. I HIGHLY recommend them. And Smokie really liked her, too. She purred most of the time, even though the vet had to clean her wound. So if our cat likes it there, I am sure yours will too. LOL

Great staff, great vets. All around a place I feel confident in bringing my two dachshunds in for care, be it regular shots or when they are sick. Dr. Flynn and Dr. Pritzl are great, they always explain the options you have in an understandable way. Really friendly and caring people.

Weve been taking our Labradoodle here since the day we got her (November 2, 2007). The entire staff genuinely cares and we never get any negative signs from our pup when we bring her there. Bring your pets here and keep a great thing going. And give your feedback

I felt very comfortable taking my new kitten in. If only she felt as comfortable getting her ear mites taken care of. Dr Stephanie was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I will definitely return for her vaccinations and worming, as well as any other ailments.

This place is wonderful. Pretty affordable and caring staff. Had my 13 yr old , 122 lb dog put to sleep today. They wheeled out a gurney for her and were just so sweet. These people work in the veterinary field because they love animals.
